When we don't see God working in our lives.

Hi there,
How's it all going?
I hope that you're having a really nice day.
Today I want to talk about, some hard things that we go through.

Now you might be sitting somewhere, thinking about the next step, or the next thing to do.
And fear is a lier, it criples us, to the point we can't move or feel like we can't move forward.

And we can't change people, no matter who much we want them to shut up and close down the gossip, the things they say and spread, about us.

People will always look for a victim, because of what we've done or haven't done.
It's not them to take final judgement, just remember that.

One of the things I take joy in everyday, no matter what happens, you  have courage stronger than anything else.

It take courage to wake up in the morning and put your feet on the floor sometimes, it can take all your strength just to do that.

But you've done it, haven't you?
You've woken up, you've done a good day's work, and no matter what you're doing this afternoon it's going to be a good afternoon.

In my homeschooling journey, days were yeah crazy, some times you'd have bad mornings, or just ''off days'' but you get a chance to turn it around in the afternoon.

Nothing is ever a ''mistake'' everything works in God's plan for your life.
even if you think it's a mess, it's not on the other side, cause you know what he's doing?
He's making a master piece out of little broken things, the hurt, the places we can't say to our friends, the things that we just wish, would be better, or the things that, we can't let God in and see.

Yeah, he see it, and you haven't messed up, not by a long shot.
He takes all that, and turns it into something beautiful.

Jesus is still there

Hi there,
How's it all going?
I hope that you're having a really nice saturday afternoon.
What have you been doing?
Today is sunny, and nice.
I've taken the little boy out to the park, and we had so much fun.

In recent times, New Zealand has gone through, some horrific, shootings.
It is the first time, that 3 people have opened fire, and shot 59 people, injuring some, and killing others.

Where are they getting these guns from?
We need to be careful not to hate the people who has done this in our society, we are a small nation, and  they were just going about their day, going to their mosque, and not knowing who will enter it was their last day on this  earth.

What happens when we are faced with a crisis?

Do we extend the hand of dislike and hate?
Or do we, reach out with love and help those who don't understand.

Sometimes, in life, we don't understand why things happen to us?
It is not often our fault, but those of others, it's up to us , to make that choice to see how we deal with things.

What happens, if we go 2 far on something?
We regret it.
What happens, if we don't stop, because know, what it does to the other person?
We hurt them.
But because there's string ties, there, we keep hoping and keep trying, knows excatly it's killing us inside.
My friend don't suffer alone, don't try to ''keep on top of it'' because, we know, that our will is weak, and it will always beat us.

Instead, tell someone, that you're struggling, its ok.
That's what pastors, Christian councilors, are there for to make sure that we don't break, and snap.
If your'e struggling with something today, be it lust, be it that you just can't control whatever you're going through now, whatever it is, you're never alone, you'll never walk alone.

Believing, what you are still believing in.

Hi there,
Just me.

How's your day going?
I hope that you're good.
Well it's autum here, and there is no wind, and it's such a lovely day outside I'm going out shortly to enjoy it.

Lately I've been listening to Joyce Meyer, cause I slept in and missed church in the morning, then I talked to my friend in duendin, so I missed night church.

And this morning my older brother Sam rang me, for a Freddy update, and well Fred heard my voice but couldn't see me, because I'm still down in Invercargil.

I've learnt alot recently and this is what is on my heart, and yes if you could see Fred you'll understand.

Upon my talk to my brother, he was looking to see me, but because I wasn't there, there was a God mode. we hear God's voice, but we don't know where he is, because we want to see him, in human form.






Fred is also a very busy cat, trying to pick him up, is like holding a wiggling kid. he just wants down.

He's got things to do on his list.
Much like my mum ( Sorry mum.)




How many times, do we come to Jesus with a small spirit,  not wrigging around like Fred, not putting it off for a time we really need him.

But coming to him every day, of our lives, to build ourselves up, and know that we are strong in Christ but also in ourselves.

One thing that is hard to understand, we all have these struggles.
Feeling of insecure, maybe we think we give up to easily, on something, that at the time felt right.

Jesus is an all consuming fire, and he knows our needs, you know, he knows excatly what we need, at the right time.

We don't need ''baggers or gossipers.''  and toxic environments.

But we need to extend love to them, and grace.

One thing about moving away from home, when things are different,  moving down here, was interesting. sure I run to steven, and he's probably thinking, help what have I done to deseve this?
I thought I hurt him once like really hurt him, like don't talk to me again, sort, like I wanted to fix it.

and do you know what it was?

Going to a different church!

I see that, now, that he didn't want people talking because, where I work it's increbably gossipy, and I get that now.
That distance is a good thing,
One friend said to me about my work, '' wow, can Chloe manage a boy friend?''
 I can't picture it.''


We need to stop living through people, you know, be like that kite, in the wind, yes it's tethered to a string, but the more you let it out, the higher it gets.

How many of us, feel like we're that kite, struggling to get free from what others think?

You know, if might, be family, it might be friends, it might just be that we really need to break away, from those people.

It's not a matter of being a victim I'm not talking about that, healing comes with time, and knowing Him.

You know God gives us beauty for ashes, we can't keep our ashes, we can't keep the old way of doing things.

We are a new creation, we are made in his image, and beauty isn't everything it means in your heart, if you're heart is healed then you are healed a new creation.

But if you're hurting, we hurt people.

YOu know, Hosea?

God came to him and said to him go take a wife who is adulterous wife, but here's the thing. and we get caught up with this.
But what is the real story?
The Israelites, coming, back to repentance  to the Lord.

You know, sometimes we go through things, and we miss the point, we have to be sorry. And God loves the way we are.
You know, he is always watching over us, wanting us to win in everything we do. not to give up half way. not to extend mercy.
We need to give ourselves a favor and forgive.
You know not everything is going to work out, that is life.

But we aren't failures, we are loved by Christ, a new creation.

Come back to the drawing board.

where do you go when you ''have an emergency''

Hi there friends.
How's your day going?
I hope that you're good.
What's been happening with you?
Recently I was talking to my friend, Melaine, and we were just talking, it was lovely. because we are extremely close.

I'm a pretty confusing indivaial, if something isn't working, I'd just want to go back to dunedin. rather than grow through the expereince.

I was making myself a cup of tea, thinking about the week ahead, and the ''wilderness'' experience.  and you know, what happens?
When we give up?
We give up on ourselves, the why questions, come.

Why can I be like that chef, who knows how to do things, why can't I be like my younger brother writing?
Or my older brother who owns a gym, what about me?

Why can't I get my wheels to start again?

I remember texting my friend, saying'' I'm giving up, I'm throwing it all in, and are you awake?"

Clearly nothing was going well,  he told me never to give up, to keep praying, to keep learning.'' and of course he was right.

I was wanting to keep running in the long run.

Around the mountain we go.

You know what happened when the Israelites, did that?
They missed out on their potential, you know they wanted to throw in the towel.

They wanted their own pitty party, they would see how good the land was, but, was blinded by, the things that, were unadiquate.

They let that be their goal, and not the price.

See we need grit in ourselves, we need to be sharpened, by the things that need to go, in our own weaknesses.

 We give up, we throw in the towel long before we see the benifits.

We'll always be targeted by things that is life, it's not always sunny.

But after the clouds, the sun comes out, and we can get going again.

And sometimes we need to get out of toxic envorments, they limit us in what we are called to do, because they are always taling about what that person should be doing, or believing, in that person.

And if you're thinking can you not be good at anything?

You know, think of the people that you support, yah?

You are working behind the scenes, to help that child over in Africa, to go to school to live a life with no poventy, who loves you and wants to know how you are, because you've given life to them.

you might not be the next Bill gates, and when we go through trauma, we dream about the perfect life, the famous, the ''I want to bes''

And when you want the best for people, people want that.
And you make your enemies, jealous.

Because why?
You are successful in small things.

Don't give up half way, don't just walk half way, through the promise land and just stop. Keep going.
