Hello there,
I hope that you're going well, and enjoying your things.
We are ending the lock down, and going into stage 1 this week.
I've already booked in a riding lesson, for next saturday.
Which you know about, it will be about 2 months since I haven't been on a horse.
I've missed it like you wouldn't believe.
I want to share with you times to celebrate, sometimes we get into the grind of things, and we don't really celebrate the good times we've had.
So take time to thank God for the things he's done in your life, and not to take them for granted, we are called to count our blessings, one by one.
If we have a roof over our heads, money in our pockets and bank accounts, we are privileged. and considered rich.
We are swimming in the lap of luxury, and we don't even know it or, are deaf to it.
The bible says, we can't be saved by doing just good works, we need to follow through on them. and we mean what we say.
I was catching up with a lovely friend of mine Mary, who is very pro life, and when we catch up we slot right back where we left off.
It's lovely, to have those special times, with special friends.
She told me she has 8 sponsored children, and writes to them often.
I told her about little Gracie.
And she told me things to enclude in letters and not to enclude in letters, and write often, as writing builds up a relationship.
We are called to celebrate the small things, in life, and the big things in life, we are called to celebrate life in general.
Well that's all I have time for today.
Lots of love
Chloe

Finding hope in uncertian times.
Hello there my friends.
I hope that you're good, and well.
Well today I have to say I started the day with no plan, and it showed.
and it says in the bible, that without plans, the fail.
I had to come up with a plan B, for the boys baking today, after 2 attempts to make, mash mellow.
In my head I do, have a plan of what to offer to the boys, and today got told to raise the bar a bit higher.
which makes me think about, my baking. I perhaps, need to raise the bar, a bit higher. I'm wondering what the kids would like.
I don't want to go all fancy and spend hours working on some, things that fail.
I need to find recipes that work.
So it's a daily challenge, to come up with recipes that work.
Today I made 300 hand rolled cookies, for the boys tomorrow.
I'm slowly, trusting myself, with big quantiles, of things.
I find that the boys like Belgium slice, and cheese scones, and soup.
and they like cheese rolls.
I talk as though they're sea gulls, or feeding time in the shark tank at the local Aquarium. which isn't a bad sort of way to describe the seniors.
Feeding time at Kelly Tarltons.
But I want to share with you, with all this uncertainty going on, with massive job losses, and some of my friends have lost jobs, this week.
My past work place has laid off staff due to the virus.
We know that Jesus is our Saviour, and knows the plans that we have and that they are good ones.
It's easy to think that the grass is greener on the other side, sometimes we need clarity in our thoughts. and time to think.
To shut off all gossip and slander from ourselves, sometimes I don't know about you, but sometimes we are covered in it.
And it needs to stop, because it's not helping the other person.
Are we authentic in our work place or just wearing the Christian badge as a safety net to fall back on?
Agreeing with all that goes around while someone who we don't like does their job?
These are real times, that we are facing, and we must face them with Grace.
Finding hope in uncertain times, means to believe in something a bit deeper that just the surface.
Sometimes we need to come clean on a few things, and really see, things for what they are.
Sometimes are really hard to face, like work, because it give you a sense of achievement, that you're working as a team for the greater cause. Someone is paying you, to do your job, and it that security. Suddenly with that gone, your faced to loss. and it's a grief, that is hidden.
And when you are lonely, and you have no job it can be very dark.
When you're at that place, in your life when everything is going great or your friends life is going well, and you're wondering if you're forgotten.
My friend we know a Jesus that never forgets, he doesn't place you down and walks away, he is still carrying you.
I caught up with a friend who lost her son on Christmas day, she said, in our talk, that the only thing, that she felt was Christ carrying her up from that point and hasn't put her down.
And that is what he is doing to you.
He is carrying you though the things that you can't face by yourself.
He is always there to take you, and hold you and to stop you from running.
When we go through things that aren't on our list, we do rise up from it, stronger and better.
It's easy at the time, to come out with all guns blazing, but we know, that Jesus is watching over us. and he knows what is best for us.
I am a firm believer that things happen, and there's no right or wrong way, about going about it.
Things in life do happen, and it's not all our fault.
It is sad that people have lost their jobs, tragic in fact, terrible loss.
Heart breaking that people, are going through job losses at this point in time.
So my encouragement to you at this time, is to keep pressing into Jesus, keep pressing into him with all that you have got.
Because he knows that you are worth it, that love is worth the fight, and we have to fight to become stronger.
But fight righteously and with love. None of giving people a serve. but in kindness.
And with genuine love and grace.
Lots of love
Chloe.
I hope that you're good, and well.

May thoughts, Number 2
Hello All,
Well it's another day and it's been a really nice day.
I've been at my friends place for most of it, we tried to find, the pineapple track, but got lost, I know how do you get lost in dunedin, finding the pineapple track, moral of the story is that, we went up a road called Rudd Road, and it was gravel, we got to a padlocked gate and I had to reverse all the way down.
I'm getting pretty good at reversing. it was a good experience.
Some times you just need those days don't you that you do nothing, and today was a hogan hero day.
It was great, and it's a simple easy dinner tonight, Matt's lasagna from tea last night and roast potatoes in the oven bbq.
I'm making pad thai tomorrow for dinner, and rice pudding.
Today, I finally followed through on something that I've always wanted to do.
I picked up a little girl to add to my sponsor family, little Grace who is 4.
I've been praying for her, and every day I've thought about her, she stares at me, from her profile photo, while I do my hair in the morning.
I heard a talk by Ravi Zacharias about what we can do to break the poverty cycle. It's the small things in life, that count.
At them moment, I'm French braiding my hair, it's getting longer and thicker.
And the boys at the school have duck shooting this weekend, I'm now remembering boys names.
What they like and don't like, they boys love their afghans, and banana cakes.
And M and M biscuits.
I haven't been for my walk today, mainly because I was at your friends place since 9 am to 3 pm. and it would have been lovely, I'll go tomorrow morning on my walk.
Then back to work Sunday, and have to make soup for the staff, with hot bacon and cheese scones.
I think of my little Gracie when I'm working, I'm wondering how she is going, and what would she be doing, will she be playing with her dolls? or singing?
or dancing?
Which tells me that she's a happy girl.
And that her bones, are strong because she is happy.
She lives in Indonesia, which isn't too far away from home.
In these challenging times, let me encourage you to press into those times when you are happy, and be reminded of them.
Press into God, and people that care, and write to them, and love them.
That's all I want to say, tonight is bless them, and care for your friends.

Those all important talks.
Hello my friends.
How are you?
I hope that you're going well.
I woke up this morning and from the water, the sun rise was amazing, golden light on the water.
I spoke my friend in England, this morning. Which was really lovely, it was so special to see her again.
I was walking out of work last night, and before I started for the day, I was listening, to a talk about the appointed times, that we're in. The people we talk to.
I also was trying to get my banking done, tomorrow I pick up another sponsored child.
Grace, who is this cute as a button little girl. So that's what I'm doing tomorrow and walking with a friend early morning.
But sometimes we need, do need to pause, and reflect on the times we're in, and that being kind to others, means to spend time with them.
Not to rush out, onto the next new thing.
This was me, for along time, and it doesn't help anyone if you're rushing around.
trying to get everything done, and completed.
Take it easy on yourself, and relax, everything works out for those who love the lord
It's a promise for you today, and sometimes we need those talks with others and come clean and real.
Those are my thoughts for today.
I better now and hang out the washing it won't do it on it's own.

Healed redeemed, restored part 2.
Hello dear friends.
How are you?
I hope that you're all good and fine.
I forgot how much I enjoyed my writing as a young girl, I thought I lost it. I'm reminded of Celine Dions song ''it's all coming back to me now.'' and I'd love to produce a picture book one day.
I caught up with an author friend, and we picked up her book, at uni print, it is a proof read, of her book, but it's so exciting, to see the journey for her, and I pray that one day I will put out a book.
I also want to continue on my theme, of being healed, restored, and redeemed, because I believe that everyone is that from their past.
You might have things in your past, that were less than ideal, or satisfactory, but you are healed from that, you don't live there anymore.
Sometimes, we go through blimps, in our lives, we want to forget, so we forgive and forget. and we try to move on.
It's hard when we're tired, we forget how easily, we are blessed, to have food on our tables, a roof over our heads, and money in our banks, while people are going without.
How can we, give out to those people who, don't have much in our own cities?
What can we do that helps give back to your community?
Covid 19, has taught a lot about ourselves, about health and wellness, but also there's a lot that is new to us.
A lot about Covid 19 is about being kind to people, and that's the nice thing about beating this sickness.
One thing that I'm learning, about committing, and following through.
I have and haven't been very good at it, but I'm hoping to improve.
We are restored through the grace of God.
That doesn't mean, that we can do what we want, when we want, we are children of the living God.
We have to be cautious, because we are children of the light, so we need to act of children of the light.
Jesus is always, there for us and with us, he is always around the corner, ready to care for us when we need him.
So when we do feel out of reach of God, he is holding onto us, when we aren't.
That's my thoughts for today.

Healed, redeemed, free from the past.
Hello my lovely friends.
I do hope that you're well and good.
I thought I'd share with you, something, that was some what of a revelation that God gave me.
We are coming out of lock down, and some of my posts, have been written in lock down. but yesterday, it dawned on me about a conversation I had with God.
Something I hadn't even noticed before. and that is we are healed, Redeemed free from the past.
Our pastor, preached on Sunday, to ask God about giving us revelations. A head and heart knowledge of our loving Jesus.
I was listening to him, on what he has to say, about me.
Have you ever done that?
Well, for me it was a revelation because, he called me loved, cherished and even adored, and healed.
For me, it was a big thing, because, for 32 years, I have lived with a brain injury, causing Mild cerbal palsy.
Now, I'm not waving it around feeling sorry for my self, but when Jesus and I talk, he told me, that when we talk, he has healed me from it when I go to him.
My head opens up, and I can fully trust God, that hours go by, just with talking to him and writing down what he has to say, and I am normal, made new.
See you might see that you're only on your own, that there isn't any help, but with Jesus, when we go to him he is our redeemer, our healer, our freedom.
And we loose ourselves in him.
Today, I want to tell you, that you are redeemed you are totally set free from what has gone on in your life.
I don't live in the past, any more, Jesus has written that off, and has delt with it.
We need to get a head and heart knowledge from him, it needs to go deep down into our hearts.
Sometimes it, takes a little while for that to seep in, but it does.
Jesus sets us up onto his shoulders, and in him, there is no fear, and perfect love.
He's not up there to tell you off, or scold you, on the things that you didn't do.
Rather he's a loving compassionate God.
Coming out of lock down, and into a new life with him is so exciting.
Because in him there is total freedom.
Lock down is thing of the past, today is a new day.
You don't live in yesterday, it's gone, and you are living in the here and now.
I am thankful to Jesus, the one who can only save us, to redeem us, to free us from the past. he is the only one who can do that.
None of our loved ones can, as we don't have power, but Jesus does.
He has been there for me time and time again, countless times, times when I've been in the church listening and not doing, not serving, just getting fed.
But I know that there's a greater call, on my life to make a change.
To be a change maker, to see change happen to pray about change, to really through the power of Christ, and the testmony, of him, people's lives will get changed.
That our souls to matter.
That there's people out there people that we know, need him.
I can tell you first hand, that Jesus has brought me back from the grips of death.
I know first hand what it's like to be told, to die, to end a life, to do it.
I was told 3 days of it, to die. not to scare you, I'm perfectly alive and well now.
It was scary, cause it rose up so quickly, that my spirit knew it was the devil himself.
I just prayed to Jesus, I cried out to him, I just ran at him full force, and pressed into him, like no other. Even though I couldn't see him.
I knew he was fighting on behalf of me, because I could hear horses preparing for battle, and swords. in my mind, I knew that my life was precious to God. He doesn't ever give up on anyone, he goes after us on a daily account.
And he wants everyone to live, to live and not to die. How he got in, I don't know. but I ran to jesus, I prayed the name of Jesus, he came through.
Even now, I am sure of the love of Christ. that every day counts.
My friend if you are going through a struggle, and you are wondering what it is all about, you can go to him with any thing and he prepares for battle.
He is your overcomer, your way maker. He wins everytime.
He loves you so much with a love that is never ending, always giving freely.
He is your redeemer, your rescuer, a love that never gives up.
That is your Christ.
And that is my blog post for today.
My prayer is that he will do the same for you as he has done so many times for me.
That is my thought for today.
Jesus bless you and keep you, may his face turn upon you and give you peace.
Chloe.

Where is God in all of this?
Hello People,
How are you?
I hope that you're good and happy where you are.
As my brother, goes surfing at St Clair beach.
Dad is working down stairs, and mum is at work.
I am not sad today, I don't want to live by my emotions.
But lately, I don't know if it's winter, but as we go into winter here, and come out of lock down. I am happy that we can continue, to do our work, as I haven't been working for 8 weeks.
I have enjoyed the lock down, it would be better if I had ridding to go to, but I still have to wait, to when ridding starts up again.
It got me thinking, about where is God in all of this?
Where is God in the mist of lock-down?
I am confident, that he didn't send a disease to plague the world, rather he was with every death, that happened.
So with so much uncertainty, that we're facing, how we can we have firm foundation? that doesn't sway us from side to side?
We start to build on a firm foundation at the start.
I'll give you an example.
We're having a drive way put in, re done, so that people can drive now, the previous people who did the drive way, did only half the job, and not digging out the clay, and putting down rock to help to give our right of way, a firm foundation, thus making it, sink, and water got in, and it has been in a bad way.
Now that we're having a new right of way put in, they are re doing the job, that should have been done in the first place.
Sometimes we can be like that drive way full of clay, we wonder why we're slipping, and things aren't working out.
It's not necessary us to blame, but if we start off with the right foundation, we will have the confidence in Christ, that he knows us, better than any one else we know of.
So a firm foundation to build our lives on are crucial. Like coming out of hibernation, or lock down, we need to ask ourselves, what does God require us to do?
Does he want us to do a million things?
Or does he require us to have the mind of Christ, and just do a few things well?
Our thinking has changed, on how we see our lives after lock down.
Suddenly what we think has changed.
But one thing remains true, we are true to our faith in Jesus.
He is our reason we are still here, that we are sure of one thing, that when things around us change.
God is in all of it, for those people who believe.
I'll be heading back to school soon, and work, and flat, and daphnne the dog.
I just hope that the lovely 2 years pup, doesn't eye up my new boots.
She's still in that chewing stage. I might even go to the farmers market, to get my fresh fruit for the week.
and start to support local food places.
Coming out of lock down for me, means that we have beaten Covid 19.
And we've all done it for our families, and friends.
I am so happy to see my friends again, I can go ridding, I might even, book in a lesson today, for Friday or just see my horse that I ride, and tell them I've missed them, because I have so much.
That's me and my thoughts for today.

How are you?
I hope that you're good and happy where you are.

May thoughts.
I thought today, I'd share with you some thoughts.
As the fog begins to lift, and we can see the city we are waiting for the blessed assurance of Christ.
To go deeper with him every day.
We need to surrender ourselves to him.
When we go through the deepest trials, we need to get to know our bible, and know who are in Christ.
To willing go deeper into him, each day, not go be all doom and gloom about it, but really go full on with him.
A little while ago, I was talking to a friend, of mine, because I wanted to test out who I was talking to, to make sure it is God and not anyone else.
Our times that we have are so precious, that God is love.
I'm reading, a book called, ''First love.'' by Geoff Woodcock. I'd encourage you to read his final book of 5.
It is inspirational, and encouraging.
And we all need books that feed us, and it's important, to get spiritual fed.
Geoff's First love book, goes back to all the things that we know, but deep down do we know them in our heart?
Have we go so much information in our heads, that it's not getting into your hearts.
We constantly need new revelations, from God daily, to know where we are with him.
We can't just be pew warmers, but doers of the word and letting God guide us to himself.
When I was in hospital, and everyone left, I was just alone, with God and me, that's where it all started off. I wanted him in my life, to take over.
Jesus was in that room so often, that the nurses loved it.
There was a peace there in that room, that Jesus turned up, and he still turns up to this day, in my life.
He has kept me safe, and brought me this far, and the thing is, he never stops,
he's continually working it out for our good.
Jesus wipes the slate clean, so we can start off each day, fresh and new, but we have to know him in our hearts, not just our heads.
Just like the sea fog lifting this morning, we couldn't see a thing, but just like that the fog lifts, and we can, see the glory of God working in our own lives.
Just like that hospital room, we can minister to people, who come into our lives, for peace and comfort. Note that Jesus always asks for in invite, he is never pushing or shoving, to get in.
He patiently, waits, on the other side of the door, and it's up to us to open it up.
Many times I've thought why did I become a Christian, and what made me come to know Jesus?
I grew up in a family who went to church and it all seemed good, I changed a few churches, some community ones, to smaller ones, to not at all down south, I might haven gone 3 times.
It wasn't till I did a Sozo, that another veil was opened up and I could actually attend.
A natural, and spiritual blocking had come up, and I just was blue for a while, without really knowing why.
It's not until recently, that the lord revealed it to me, why. I had disobeyed him, at one stage, and it hurt me deeply.
And soon I will be working with the vulnerable children, which I will get training for.
It's important, I've learn t to get proper training, for situations, so that you know what happens, if things go pear shaped.
We are not born to carry such loads, by ourselves, nor are we trained to do so.
so it's important, to get the right help at the crucial times.
If we haven't loved ourselves, how are we suppose to love others?
I can not emphasize enough that it's important to have outlets, to have friends to talk, to when you are in tough situations, so that you don't carry a load to heavy.
Jesus commands us to walk with his yoke on us, that his one is easy and light.
But it's amazing what a good friend really does, and that you're all in it together.
To be singing from the same song sheet, as it were.
We often strive, so hard, to get noticed by our parents, by the people who love us, then when we don't get it we feel rejected and wondering what it is all for?
My friend, nothing here is wasted, not one thing, is, it's just adding richness to your own story, so that you can share it with others.
And when we get to those things, in life that are like road blocks, and we hit pot holes, and we think hang on a minute this wasn't the plan.
and divert, Jesus, in there to take the wheel.
It might sound all to simple to believe, it might not be your way, but the more we trust him the more he gives us.
It might not be earthly things, but what you're storing up in heaven, is riches. people will come to faith because of you.
Jesus loves you just the way you are, nothing is a surprise to him he doesn't leave you where you are, and then goes, walking off, leaving you to it.
He walks step in step beside us, making sure we are who we're born to be
We might have mental and heart scars, on our hearts, we might be so striving, that we loose faith in what we already have.
Jesus takes it all, and he puts us on his shoulders, so that we are held in his hands.
Jesus wants the same for you and for me, equal measures of goodness.
We can't buy our way into salvation, we can't trust ourselves to have eternal life, we can't go on our parents prayers to inherit eternal life.
We are called just to believe in him, and walk with him and love the ones, go with him, the moment he calls us, it might not be missionary stuff, it might be serving in your own church in your own city.
But do it because you are building the kingdom of God, and you are listening to him.
Step by step, he is walking with you, doing, what you're called to do.
So what are you called to do?
Love.
Love the ones around you, the ones that you adore, you cherish you miss, the ones, that mean so much to you.
Love the ones that are least of these, that even a cup of cold water is blessed to them. be it in our cities, in our homes, wherever it's meant to be, love Christ as yourself.
Love yourself.
For a long time I couldn't love myself, because we were like white washed tombs praising God in church, but our place was anger, bitter, nasty. Anger was modeled down, to children. it wasn't challenged, we had no one to turn to, so I was angry at myself, because I couldn't be strong, in bullying situations at my work place, which isn't now because I have changed my work, but for years, there was bullying going on. no matter how much I wished and prayed, and prayed, the best thing was to resign, and leave.
Because of that anger, it hurts us, inside, because it builds miss trust, we can't trust the ones around us, because of failing.
So I'm on a journey of healing. I remember walking along in my daily walks, I prayed to God, that the fist of anger would not come to Matthew or I.
What I saw in the spirit, was this hand, gripping us so tightly, that the power, of God, came, and just took that fist, of anger, and I remember that day, when Jesus finally freed us, from it.
And said it is finished, it's done.
And when Jesus says it's finished, it's totally over. he's destroyed it.
Gone without a trace.
Jesus knows what we're going through, he knows how to handle it.
Trust goes with love.
What does that look like?
it means confidence, belief, faith.
When we have confidence, we know without a doubt, that person is the saying the truth.
when we meet up with our friends, we trust that person is going to be there.
When we are in relationships, we trust that Jesus is the one that has brought us together, we are a union to that person, that we are one flesh.
When we are our family, we trust them with our lives, with our stories, with sharing the pains, and trials, to begin the healing process.
We trust God, that we have eternal life.
When we have those vulnerable around us, we nurture them so that they can grow, and make good plans and have good futures
When we give to places, we trust them with our money, that that money is going toward that person, or place or thing we put our money to.
Our returns, that we get back from tax, or pay tax, we trust them that they are right.
That if we get a return we return it to the kingdom.
It walks beside love, and in perfect love there is no fear.
We aren't called to fear these days, rather we have this hope in us, that says ''bring it on.'' because we know who we are in Christ.
And laugh. it might seem strange, but God does have a sense of humor.
A funny story, to leave you with.
I was talking to god, about something, that I wanted to do, I really wanted to bless this person, and God was telling me this way of doing it.
I then paused for a moment, and then read over what he called me to do.
None of it made perfect sense, and I said ''well lord, you have my bank accounts, I'm joined with you so I will do it.'' thinking it was part of what he called me to do.
In my heart, I heard his voice say ''Chloe I was only having you on.''
Lighten up a bit, I was having you on.
I was joking."
He said ''go on it's funny have a laugh.'' I managed to see what he was laughing at. and managed to laugh, with him, at the thing he was calling me to do.
Sometimes we get so legalistic that no matter what we do, how much we pray, how much we believe and push, to get his attention.
All we need to do, is have a laugh with Christ.
And lighten up,see, when Paul was teaching, he often had people ministering to him. he lacked nothing on his trips.
He worked so hard that he wasn't a burden to people.
We need to be like that, we need to come into an alignment, with Jesus, so that when the time comes, we can be refreshed by others.
That is my pray for you.
Chloe

Mothers Day.
Hello there my friends,
How are you?
I hope that you're all good where you are currently.
There is mist in Dunedin, today, but the water is blue, and there's some wave action from where I type.
The birds are making the most of their songs, and singing happily in the trees.
It is getting closer to winter, but days like these you do forget that winter is coming. The persimmon tree is having a beautiful shade of copper leaves as it gears down to winter.
We haven't had a fruit off it yet, some flowers but it to cold down here to get fruit off it, it's more a north island fruit.
Still a beautiful tree all the same.
Today because it's mothers day, I want to share with you some thoughts about mothers day.
Back in 1912 was the first mothers day memorial service. Anna Jarvis, thought it was a good idea, to to hold a memorial service for her mother, and said that the second Sunday in may should be mothers day.
and Created Mothers international association. to comermiserate all the mothers that we have in our lives.
It then filtered down, to the Presidents at that time to make it a day in America.
So that's where the day comes from back in 1912.
Of course all mothers a special, they gave birth to us, and we all have people in our lives, that are like mothers if our mothers are absent, or have died.
So it's important to acknowledge those people in our lives, that are like mothers.
Of course in these, lock down, all we can do is to have mothers day at home, and prepare meals for them, and maybe a special cake to honor our mothers.
Where I used to work, we used to have high tea at the castle, for mothers, it was always great excitment and I used to look forward to baking all the mothers day things, we'd have about 70 high teas to do, all at different times and settings.
Looking back on it was really exciting, and I didn't mind working mothers day sundays, to bless the mothers in our communities.
Of course some times, as much as we love our mothers, we can have strained relationships with them.
Or things we look back on, and it has hurt us.
Forgiveness is amazing thing, and it not only sets you free, it also sets the other person free.
So if you're in that camp, make the right step, in ringing your mum and telling her how much you love her, and appreciate her. By doing that, your blessing her, and blessing yourself.
Our lives, are never easy, but we know that Jesus adopts us into his family, that he is our mother, father, brother and sister.
But that does not mean forgetting our natural family, or ignoring them.
Rather blessing them even more, because it is a real blessing to have them in our lives.
I remember a church service, as a child, there were little cards up the front, and we'd go and give them to people who we appreciate who were just there for us when we needed them. It was a lovely exercise to do.
May you can't be with your mother on this mothers day, maybe you live in a different part of the country, there is zoom, and there's email, face book, and phone.
Maybe an aunt has stepped in, when your mother has died, and you would like to contact her, to say thank you.
Or another deep friend, who has been there.
It's important to be thankful in everything you do, so that you are gracious to the person. and show real love to the people around you.
Jesus calls us to have grace and live it to the full.
He calls us to serve each other, because he leads by example.
So serve each other loving one another as Christ loves you.
He set himself aside so that he can live.
Finally I want to share with you, one of my favourite mothers memory.
When I was at primary school, mum did home sewing, for different companies.
I was sent to bed at normal time to get a good sleep, and after mum sewing her garments for others, she'd start on our clothes for school.
I'd wake up in the morning, in winter, with beautiful clothes, that she had done, for me, so that I would be snuggly warm in my polar fleece gear.
Later I'd use this same year, to go on ski camps, and mum would often come and cook for us as well.
So that is one my of my favourite memories, as a child, waking up to new clothes in the morning.

Suporting life.
Hello there.
I hope that you're well, there's some lovely mornings here at home, and the sea is nice and still. The birds are happy singing, and there's not much noise coming from the sub-divison in the field this morning.
We are still in level 3 lock down, and I have to say I've enjoyed my holiday.
I appreciate that some of us found it, out of our control, and was bored.
I enjoyed my 1 night at my flat, but got the call to come home, and I don't have to pay rent. while I'm not there as someone else is in my room.
I do miss Daphnne the Labrador, milk chocolate with floppy ears. the park is always exciting especially after the rain, and there's always new scents to pick up. a quick walk up the hill to find the school, which is in walking distance.
The boys will get chocolate cake, to start back with, and the staff something nice. Maybe a nice plum cake or fruit Christmas cake. My uncle rang up from hastings yesterday, and we talked about my 93 year old nana, who is still going strong.
I'm still in that mode of do I go back or don't i go back?
In my heart, I want to see what this life is like. but I like home, oh well if it doesn't work out I can always come home.
I've been teaching Matt how to cook, so far we've made lental curries, chick pea curries, and pasta dishes. we work in the kitchen really well, and mastered some flat breads to have with the curries.
This is what I'll miss if I decided to go back to the flat, but Matt will come around.
I've also got back into creative writing, which I really love, a mixture, of courses that I did while homeschooling and other course I've done in town to get your own style. we printed off our stories, and made them into a hand bound book, which is still precious to me, today.
I'm also sticking within budget, and I have found a new place to go horse ridding in, so I'm really looking forward to how another teacher teaches. I'll be on smaller horses. Which probably suits me well.
I am ok with change, I have flatted in other parts of the country, and had to adapt to it, and found it really fun. I loved Timaru probably the best out of all my flatting experiences.
Where yes, I had the student allowance come in, and I hit the cafe scene, most weekends.
And my best friend Mel was up there, as well which was really lovely, Timaru is just the right size for everything, for moving away from home for the first time.
So my blog post is, about, life, and how you support it in general, what do you have in place, now. That is propelling you forward?
It might be work, it might be a new stage in life, but what is making you tick along at this current time?
I was thinking about this, and I thought that we'd turn to Colossians, Chapter 1.
In all all his writings, again Paul, writes and starts off with thanks giving and prayer. Which is important, to pray for others, and to remember people in our prayers.
Paul instructed the church at that time, with prayers of encouragement, and not to give up, praying and ministering in the church.
We all need to be serving, in some way or another, it might be being on the church door for welcoming people into church, or being on communion, or on morning tea. It doesn't need, big in serving, it might just be small serving.
It's serving the lord all the same.
It might be outside of the church, with at risk children, putting goodness and faithfulness into them.
We are all called, to be servants of Christ, rolling up our sleeves and serve each other like we're serving Christ.
When we take a step back, Jesus takes a step forward, and we see just how much, he can do with us.
Sometimes it's just serving family, and he calls us to get our own house in order, first before we go out into our mission fields.
We have Jesus to come along for the journey. he takes us to where we need to be, he can accelerate prayers. and speed them up, and answer them.
Jesus moves quick and fast to hear our call.
So no matter, what you're doing today, have the mind of Christ, in you, serve others in your bubble.
And when you get back into work, Jesus is still with you, and he never leaves us or forgets where we are.
That he always hears, our prayers and is obedient to our cries and prayers of help.
He died so that we have life in abundance, and live it to the full.

Hidden in Christ.
Hello there,
How are you?
I hope that you're having a really nice day.
I've got my plunger coffee so I'm all ready to go.
Today I want to share with you, what it would mean being hidden in Christ.
As a young child, I was a pretty good hider, I was found hiding in an old old wardrobe once, while playing hide and seek, the only thing is, that I fell asleep in the base of it.
Hidden in Christ, means that you died with him and have raised to life again. In Christ.
It means we have this confidence in him, that we can pray, we can heal in the name of Jesus. We can come boldly to him and he hears our prayers and supplications.
That we come out of hiding when we're with him, and we go straight to the father.
And he hears us, he doesn't turn a deaf ear to our cries.
We can be masters of hiding, and hiding behind ourselves, only letting the people see the good side of us.
But what if come out of hiding, and let the peace of God be with us all the time?
Not to gloss over it, but be true to ourselves.
It is important that we are true to ourselves, and know who we are in Christ, and that is evident to all people around us.
We don't like it when people are fake, or double mindedness which is in 1st peter.
Let our yes be yes and our no be no.
Yes, we can do some small things, to get to the bigger things, but we make promises that we can't keep.
We are not trained physiologists to help people, we can only help them so far.
The rest must be up to that person.
We can't always rely on the faith of others, to get us through, we need to come to him. personally.
But we can rely on the prayers of others, and we do need those conversations that sharpen us up, and make us sharp.
Come out of hiding, and come to him, with a clean heart, he has created for us.
Jesus is the only one that we can rely on, he is the author and perfecter of our faith.
That nothing is to hard for him to take on, it's up to us to to hand it over to him.
To come out of hiding, means you come out of the dark cave and into the light.
I've grown up now, and out of hiding.
And I'm out of the cave, and into the light.
The light of him, and where he's got me at this point in time.
So may the lord Jesus Christ come to you, now, and pick you up out of hiding, and be risen with him.
May you go with the grace of God, ready to serve when he calls you.

The Question.
Hello my friends.
I do hope this finds you really well.
I've been thinking a lot about you, and hope that you're having a really awesome day.
In my times with Jesus, he asked me a question.
One came right at me. I'll share it with you.
He asked me, ''What would it be like if you were planted in me?"
In my time with him, we've gradually got to know each other, and last night we really laughed. I'm so serious sometimes, that I forget to lighten up with him.
So to answer Jesus's question, what would it be like to be planted to him, and that gave me an idea, grafted, to Jesus.
Let's have a look at a grafted tree, normally it's an apple or pear tree, or any fruit tree, on good, wood stock. normally taken from a good variety of a fruit tree. and grafted onto a good root stock. The tree normally has a big bulb at the bottom of the tree, this is the graft. that is a grafted fruit tree.
Just incase you didn't know.
So I answered Jesus, I said Lord, you know, what it would be like, very thing in psalm 1, with a tree planted by streams of water, that gives in and out of season.
Whose leaf does not fade, and what ever it does prospers.
He then replied, for you Chloe what would it look like for you?
I told him what it would look like for me, that the more we're planted in him, the more deeper we go.
It's not use just having a little spindly, branches when we be planted in him from the start to get off to a good life.
Spindly branches break and don't produce fruit, and next thing you know you're under going pruning, but gradual pruning and training, leads to much fruit.
Sometimes we're hard pressed on every side, but not shaken, its in the press where we produce character and grit.
See when we're planted in Christ, we are fruitful in all that we do, but he requires the first of everything, your values your character, the way you conduct yourself, the way you are with others, the way you are with your friends, the way you are wtih your husbands, right down to money.
See when we're fruit full, we have left over things to share, in abundance, it's cruital, that we don't give our left overs to God. our mouldy gone to waste things.
Rather, give him the day, fresh and worthy of him, to do whatever needs done in our lives.
And we need to wait patiently, being planted him take patience, fruit won't set if we are always rushing around, being a martha when he has called us to be Mary's.
Trying to please the lord, with our good works, and always thinking what needs to be done.
It's not getting you any further ahead, than when you first started off.
Fruit sets, when we've been fed, in the word of God, we flower, and we set fruit, and then fruit grows on the tree. It's that tiny little bit of bud, just before the stalk of the flower, that's what you call setting fruit.
It's important when fruit sets on a fruit tree, that you are well watered, so that the fruit doesn't fall onto the ground, in a self thinning excersise.
some trees do it like a Fejoa, but most fruit stays on the tree.
So we need to be watered by the daily talks to Jesus, he is the one who conditions our souls, and make sure soft and subtitle.
If you plant a fruit tree in clay on a clay bank, you've got to prepare the ground with lots of compost and good soil to plant your tree in, because clay isn't that high in minerals, for plants.
So no matter if you're trying to get ahead, of where you've started off, or trying to do it alone.
Think of Jesus's question.
What would it look like for you personally, to be planted in him?
Fully grafted onto good stock, fruiting in and out of of season, with plenty to share.
What would that look like for you?
I'll leave it there, for you to ponder on.
Much love

praying
Hello friends.
How are you?
I hope that you're having a really nice day.
I'll keep writing, because that is what I LOVE to do.
In this lock down, God has taken me to a whole new level, of what it means to pray, and that when we're with him, we already have him in our hearts, and he hears our needs, long before we need them.
In first Peter, chapter 4 it tells us the infliction, that he went under a blameless man who took on the sin of the world, to be made right with him.
We have many prayer needs, but be cautions that the prayer chain doens't become a chat chain.
Daily I talk to God, and he talks back to me, I know it's him, and he knows it's me. What is lovely, is that I thought I lost touch with him, for many years, this beautiful relationship we have.
I was still believing, but one day in lock down he just called my name, and we have talk about many private things.
Things that I didn't know in the past, things that are only told to me now, things I hadn't even heard of, and that has to be God.
Praying is such a special time, a communication wave length back and fourth, to you and the father.
He knows your needs, if it's for healing, if it's for courage to face the day, if it's for your emotonal health, he knows what needs to happen, long before, we do.
We only treat the symptoms that are skin deep, the here and now, and what we're doing today, and that is fine, we are called to take one day at a time.
But Christ is in the the big picture, he's in all of our day to day things.
Nothing is too boring for him, nothing is ever beyond him.
Prayer is a life line to the throne of God, and we have access to it any time we want.
In christ we have complete wholeness and faith, we are blameless in his sight.
It doesn't mean that we are scot free down here, we can act the way we want to, it means, that his righteousness reigns, and he loves us.
A picture, that Jesus gave me, was of a child on a fathers chest, and when he gives me pictures, he often asks me what I saw.
I said, what I saw, and he said that's him and me.
When you're with the lord, you forget your pain, that you're in.
So pray, watch, see what the lord is doing in your own life.
Be obedient to his call on your life, and go with it.

Rescue
God in our rescuer, our redeemer and friend.
Amen?
Amen, and sometimes, we think that he isn't in the small things.
That he doesn't get our pain.
My child he does, he gets everything, that you don't understand.
He understands, you when things don't make sense, when things are hard pressed on every side. He is there to push the door open, when all around us seems closed.
My friend, keep searching for that for the father heart of God, because you will find it.
Jesus says we are loved, when we don't feel it, and we are held when we fall short.
Jesus works in amazing ways, binding up the pain in our hearts, to be full in him.
You might see all brokenness in him, you might be longing for that touch of him, to make everything right. my friend, he does he does see your pain.
He does not turn a blind eye to it, see sometimes we worry about what others say of us, or think, but it's Jesus who is the only important one.
He is our rescue.
People might even question you hear from him, but you know it's him calling your heart.
Take heart, and take a breath.
Be still and know that it is the lord, nothing else will come close.
You did it for Christ, no one else.
So take heart, you're doing well.
He is your rescue story, and the story is just the beginning.
He is writing it for you.
A professional author, writing your story, and the good thing is child, you can start again, with Jesus you can start again fresh with him. As long as the sun is still in the sky, you can start again, it's never to late.
And he takes that pain, the searing pain, and turns it into joy, he does he will do that for you, you can dance apon heart ache.
Don't believe for a moment anything less that the best he's got for you.
Take heart, my friend there's joy coming for you.
Always beautiful joy, that never ends, it never runs out. Put on clothes of gladness, and happiness, not mourning clothes.
Sometimes we need to go to the doctors and trust their advice, and put on clothes of beautiful colors, because we need to keep our eyes open.
for beautiful things of this world.
It's time to put off our mourning clothes, sure heart ache will come, but we have a brilliant finish, one that meets our Jesus up in the sky.
That's his promise in the sky, that he does come back for his loved ones.
Lately the lord has been giving me pictures, pictures, of new things, that I haven't seen before
One was a rainbow coloured IV line for a boy, who is sick.
Then this mornings one was a child on his fathers chest, and the lord said, that was me and him. that we're so close.
Rain can come, but after the rain it waters the plants and revives them, to grow
Perhaps you're in that space, you just need to wait for the rains to come to grow again.
The lord will come and water your heart, he will.
That's my encouragement for you today.
Come as you are to him, you don't need it all together.
Power of Anoiting.
Hello there my friends.
I hope that you're good and well.
School hasn't got back yet, so I'm making the most being with Jesus.
Today I want to share with you some things ,that have been on my heart.
And that is the holy spirit, and anointing and pictures that he gives us.
There have been times in my life that I've just ran to Jesus, like full on sprint to him.And he comes through, in fact, I am now spending every day with him, all day with him, and I know it's him telling me things, that I haven't heard or seen before.
I was talking to my friend Abigail, about this, and she has been doing a bible study on the holy spirit.
Now we know when Jesus, went up to heaven, he gave us his spirit, to complete the task there was at hand.
It has the power to heal, the power to fight on our behalf, and Jesus does that too on daily basis, he is out there right now, making sure that we don't slip up, his holy spirit, is like a double edged sword coming out to battle for us, it is also our comforter, when things are hard.
When you know it's Jesus, you know it's him, calling you to do something in your life. he never is mean or cruel about how he comes, in, it is always comforting.
and always right.
That is how we know it's him, and not our own thoughts down on paper.
The holy spirit, leads by example, it is always there a a guide, it leave the ''night light'' on when you need a light to light your way. when you need a light to light your path.
The spirit of God, ministers to us, when we are down, or battle torn in a battle, we've just fought.
I often come down with headaches, when I know I've been in a battle.
I've got one right now.
But Jesus is our healer, and he aids us against the enemy.
Sometimes, he just wants us to be still and know that he is the lord.
My post is about anointing of the spirit, and it is very carefully done that we do it in Jesus name, or just do it because we are called to, there doesn't need to be any reason why we do it, in fact it's best done in secret, but we do need peoples consent that we are putting the oil of gladness on them.
Anointing, is a blessing, a blessing of oil to the people you give it to, and it also protects them. the oil has gone through a crushing process, just like our Saviour Jesus Christ.
It also puts the blood of the lamb between you and the enemy.
it covers you with unbelievable, joy, and love.
and it brings break through, and healing.
So that's the power of anointing, and I hope now that you have a deep appreciation of what it does, and may you be healed through the power of his name and his oil, he has chosen you to live a life worthy of Him.

power of comunion.
Hi there my friends.
How are you?
I hope that you're good and enjoying the day.
Perhaps finding church onl-ine, or doing something that is with your family.
In this lock down Jesus has really been talking to me, so much during the day.
That' I've filled 4 note books of what he's saying.
I am to anoint people in his holy name, and anoint the house and Matt's car, for break through.
But today I want to share with you, what's on my heart.
And that is, the power of communion.
I take communion daily, it's not a ''thing or have'' to do, I want to be more in touch with God, and what his spirit is saying to me.
I was in the spirit, the other day, I wast talking to Daddy, and this is what was going on in the spirit.
What happened was a beautiful picture of me with the lord,in a battle scene.
I had already taken communion and was strongly ordered to to take more, for some reason.
So I was commuting with the father, on a few things, then out of no where, came this battle cry.
And it was all on, my spirit changed, and previously I could hear swords out and it was on. like full on. but this was just the battle between the Lord and something to do with me.
A private battle.
He said to quickly walk to the kitchen and take the juice straight, and fresh bread as, there's anointing in the bread.
So I went and did what was said, in my heart I heard this shout, ''straight Chloe now.'' so down it went.
I later had a small headache, and the lord said, ''chloe do you have a headache?" yes just a small one.
He later said, that a poisons arrow, came and just grazed my head. and was about to go go straight in, if it wasn't for communion.
The headache was there stronger, with me during the night. Jesus came to me, commanded angels to be around my bed when they saw me injured in the fight, the lord swept his hand across my hair and started to doing surgery to get the poison out.
So dear friends, this is just one example, of how the blood of Jesus, aids us against the enemy.
So dear friends, I'll leave you with that story.
Lots of love

Dream small.
Josh Wilson, is a Christian artist, who sings a song "Dream small."
Sometimes we just need to take a break, a pause, and think about the lyrics.
I encourage you to look them up.
Sometimes, we are in a battle, and all we see is the fallen around us.
Or perhaps those people who need to have space in a therapy garden.
You know, sometimes we do buy the lie that we have to do it all.
And that's not where God requires us to be.
That indeed like what the song says, ''a tiny rock and make a giant fall.''
And to be open to his voice calling your name.
If you can't hear his voice, in your life, you need to do something about it.
This was me, for a few years, and recently, I would just give him a bit of my day.
And move on with my day.
But he showed up, and has so much more for me, he's got a lot more for you.
Take heart, my friend your battle is won by the lord.
Sometimes, we just think Jesus is up there, and he's coming back, and that's all that we believe.
But Jesus, has given us a spirit, a beautiful new spirit in him.
He has given us, a new anointing, of power, love and of a sound mind.
Now I want to share rather than talk to you about who he showers us with his love.
Jesus doesn't let us, leave us alone in your sores, and bleeding, no matter what that looks like for you.
He calls us to grieve.
He doesn't turn a blind eye to the things that happened.
Rather, he is showing us his love, and his heart.
The spirit of power, yes the holy spirit is with us.
Sometimes he gives us another spirit, he gives us, many spirits to be our guide.
Some he gives us the spirit of wisdom, and some the spirit of discernment.
However, he warns us very clearly if we are to do anointing, to do it in his name.
He is is very clear about that, we can do nothing, it has to be all him,
We need to come to alignment with his will.
We can not change a thing without the power of Jesus.
Jesus says, that we are to know, everything by it's fruit.
SO dear friends, that is why, we so need Jesus in our lives.
We don't know which way the wind blows, so we can't really plan tomorrow.
Jesus took the sin from sinning.
Believe and receive from him, the freedom we can not simply buy.
He has given it freely to us, so we need to share it, with others, without payment.
4him wrote a song, where there is faith.
It again is a powerful song,
However, we can have all these powerful songs, and still not have a heart change.
A supernatural heart transplant.
And that is what I've had, with a triple bypass.
Praise the lord, the blinkers are off.
My friends, can I encourage you to take the blinkers off?
So go in the holy spirit, under his anointing.
Be blessed.
