Hi there
I was thinking about what we should be doing in the garden, and that is last call for pruning.
There's one fruit tree that needs it, and that is a pear tree.
Pruning encourages new growth, where the old has been cut away, and the new has come.
There's so much colour out in the garden at the moment, pink ''Christmas cheer'' rhodendrons, Camelias, winter roses, it's all coming alive.
I love it, and the thought of the bulbs that we planted a month and half ago, will soon be poking their green sprears up into the sunlight.
The garden is great for therapy.
It is time to take stock of what you've got, what needs to be done, and what things could be planted, or maintained.
When Jesus was hungry he wanted something to eat, it was the right time for figs but he came to a tree that bore none, so he talked to it, and it shriveled up. was it because he was hangry? or was that a lesson to all of us that we have this same power that he has in us. that is precious.
That is why we have to stop and think about our words and actions, because Jesus is our example.
Sure you might have had a week, of hard work, of new things, but that doesn't mean that give you the ''right'' even if, listen even if, the person is saying things about you. that doesn't make you justified,
You are justified, through the blood of Jesus, because you have seen the ways of man, and you want to be more like him.
And with this new work ethic you will surely, be stronger than what you are currently.
So time to fit in the last bit of pruning before the spring comes and with God on your side, you can, face anything that you are going through because the same power is in him, and is in you.
Don't dirty your good name or good morals, don't setttle for anything that is fleeting, keep pure my friends, yes it's hard to see somewhere through the woods, seeing the wood between the trees, but we are called to be counted for such a time as this.

Don't give into complancy.
I was thinking about the week and what I should share with you.
So I thought I'd write about complacency.
We can all sit on the edge of the of the fence with this one, in no mans land because it effects us both.
In what way?
Well in daily life, because we can all have area's where we don't try as hard as we would like. Please note I struggle with this as well, so we ignore the fact that it is happening to us.
We know it's there, we just don't know how to go about it.
We can get complancent about our jobs, what we do, ''it doesn't really matter, I'll be out of here soon, another day another dollar.''
However, this isn't good thinking at all, because ''what if the next person has the same thought, as us?" that is where we need to either change jobs, and or find ways not to be complacent in our work places.
It's easy in a new job, to be excited I am about being in the bakery, all the bakers are leaving and we are a dying breed out there, that is why we need more people to enjoy their work as a baker.
I had a warning at my work,I got tired, of a few factors, and I was just voicing them, not really knowing if it gets out what would that do to the person. there were a couple of factors but now I'm right at home with my pieces of paper and off we go.
Smooth sailing again.
I'm finding out ways to use up day old stock, and turning them into profit, well hope to anyway, and to make those scones, a bit better so that they aren't just sitting on the self.
I do like a nice scone.
I was complacent about my scones, in they go out they go. but now I have ways of improving the product.
I am blessed to have a job, that came at the right time, Jesus got me the job, I fully believe that, and coming out of hospital, and able to work with doctors certificates.
I am able to have boundaries in my life, and plan for things, good work, is given by the lord I do believe that.
When you work hard, to your ablitiy, you get rewarded not in a money sense, but it improves your whole outlook in life.
In everything that you do.
you know you're in the right job.
My advice is, if you're getting complacent, in your job, either see a way to upskill so you're moving forward, or to ways to retrain or apply for something that you really want to do.
Those are my thoughts for today.

You will get there.
Hi there,
I was just thinking of you today.
I was thinking of the times, that in my own life I wanted to give up, and throw it all in, but today I want to encourage you, not to.
Because you're not a quitter.
You might be just trying to find out what life is all about, or your new work, it takes time to get into a new job, and sort it all out.
So what do we do if we're not getting it?
We take a breath and we think, and allowing our time to get reajusted to the work environment.
I love my job, I will get there and each and every day I tell myself, ''Rosenbergs, aren't quitters, no matter what happens.''
It comes with the job, don't give up to easily, you know you have the strength in you, not to quit, because Jesus didn't quit.
What I'm learning now, is so much.
I'm learning management, dispatch, patterns, baking, cabniet baking, how to mark down, and all that.
I'm not going to pick it up in all a week, there's no way I can learn that in a week.
I am a paper and pen person, not a telling and listening person.
I want ot know how to fix my french sticks from proving to each other when you break them in half, and the moment ,I feel like a retired baker coming out of retierment.
I'm not a seasoned baker, I am enjoying my job, but I don't enjoy being stopped at everything I do, because that stops my patterns, and way.
I do know alot about scratch bakery, because I was in the top 4 of my bakery class for my written assignments.
That was when I was most confident.
When it comes to teaching you need to be open to mistakes, and learning together, you just can't expect someone to get it off first hand.
We can all get to where we are going if we just allow the time to get there.
This is not a feminist movement approach.
This is a natural.
A caterpillar doesn't become, a butterfly, over night, the caterpillar goes through a process to be turned into a butterfly.
Are you getting it?
Sometimes we don't want to go through the caterpillar stage, we just want to fly around like butterflies.
But we do need to go through this, because it performs grit in our lives.
However we do need to be careful, about how in what way we live our lives. and not to be closed off to systems rather try them all.
And only go down one, road, because that won't help us at all.
Rather, we need to make the most of our lives, together.
And enjoying the experience, you will get there, don't despair.
Have a memory book or read over some of your favorite books, do whatever to make it work.

uplifting your family
Hi there.
How's it all going?
Well it's another day and that means, it's a day to celebrate who you are as a person.
As the clouds roll in off the hills, I look around and the Dredge has been hard at it, again making the channel deeper.
I think back on my week, it's been a while I've picked up a new job, as a baker, at a supermarket, I enjoy it.
It's good fun.
There's still plenty to learn, off and from, what works and what doesn't.
Working alone makes you aware of multi-tasking, because there's only one doing the job.
it works though.
I was thinking in bed last night before I went to sleep, how a good work day finishes, and your work is blessed.
There was something about my things being sold today, the cabinet is nearly sold out.
which is good, that is what you want.
I wasn't very happy with my life, I was envious of my brothers, and people who enjoyed their work, because they had something to do.
Matt writes for the times, and I Just read a story on the splash, of a man in his 90s an ambassador for Auckland air port.
A man who still enjoys his job.
If I don't do my job, there will be no bread for the people tomorrow.
Work is a blessing from God.
Even if my machinary broke down today, I was still able to mix things by hand.
I have one thing to say about the pakaging, it's all plastic, and it feels so wrong to put things into plastic, it like a sea of plastic bags and that is with nice things in them.
It would help the environment if we stopped using plastic all together.
It would be kinder on ourselves, and planet, we've stopped the single use plastic bags, but we haven't stopped storing bread in them.
But I digress, it is extremely important, to always up lift people, especially our families.
This came from watching a DVD, called "The return of the daughters'' by Victoria, and Anna Sofia Botkin.
We live in a cruel world, and we aim to protect our children in a good spiritual way, it is what the Lord requires us to do.
However we have a problem, what if it's not modeled out?
what if we live by the Lord law, and that is to walk humbly with the Lord, and obey him, but we're not doing it ourselves?
This was me.
I was thinking if I was nice to my friends and nasty to my brothers, and spending more time with my friends rather than my family, that it wouldn't worry the Lord.
I was snide, I was sarcastic, I was exerating the story, to be noticed and out that I was something that I made myself. a monster.
I didn't like myself, until I had my break down.
Before that I complained, nothing was ever ''working'' or ''going right'' I was tiresome to be around.
I came through my breakdown, and now things don't make me uptight, and I don't get road rage.
which was everytime I went out for a drive.
The Lord gave me a new heart, and I could love my family more.
So if there's anything to ''take home'' from this is, to have a new family, you have to start working on yourself.

July thoughts. 200th post.
Hi there,
How's it been?
I hope that you're good.
Today as I write this, it is a new day, a brand spanking new day, full of such great hope and love.
I was out with a friend, at a nearby beach cafe, and as we tucked into our lunch, and coffee, the sunshine was on the water, brave body boarders were out bracing the waves, and dogs came to the cafe with their owners.
It was such a fantastic day to see people out enjoying it.
Today I want to talk to you, about setting your mind for action, and not letting anything come in between it.
Why?
Because I believe, that if we don't set our minds for action we are drifting, and I was a drifter before my break down, and since then, I've had 2 job offers, and I'm motivated than ever, but it's a Godly motivation.
We will go through somethings in life that are hard, for us, we will get stuck in situations, that we will face, we'll be come in contact in tricky situations.
Like being caught between a rock and hard place.
And it's how we see it, determines, our outlook on life.
If we just take a pause, and think, ''don't panic'' we wont.
We all have stress in our lives, some of it is good, it propels us forward, and some of it, can make us have breakdowns.
We forget to breath, much like doing a gym excerise and you're holding your breath, and you just forget.
till someone tells you.
Forgive yourself, when this happens, it's part of self care, I thought self care was really self centered. but it's not, it means you have boundaries, and that is healthy to have boundaries, or else you have people walk all over you and you become a door mat.
Why?
Because you dont know your own mind.
I've recently, been using a diary, it makes planning your day so much easier. because you can pencil in things, and have deadlines.
Instead of having engery just sapped out of you.
In order, to be an effective we need to look after ourselves, we can't simply keep going, if our wheels are stuck in mud. we need to take a step back, think logically. and think what is best for us.
Well that is me for now

Psalm 123.
Psalm 123.
Lord be with us and our children, today reach down in mercy and heal those who need it. Thank you Lord that we are all in your perfect plan.
You don't forget about us, we're not forgotten, we're not a mistake.
We are all loved beyond measure, our cups are full, and running over with your blessing.
Amen.
Psalm 123, is a beautiful pslam, to me it means, dedicating, our lives to him, and being patient in waiting in what he does for our lives.
It also speaks about action, verse 2. says. ''As the eyes of slaves, look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the lord our God, till she shows us his mercy.''
We still have injustice going on, people using little children, for indesent things that should never happen to a child. Child brides.
Horrific punishments, we still have awful things happen in our city.
To do with women.
Verse 3 says, have mercy on us, Oh lord have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt, we have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.
The lord does have mercy on us, each and every single day.
we might have endured contempt, and bullying.
Things we should never have put up with.
But we have, because we have believed the lies, about us.
And people have had the power over us, because is there way, of coping.
We all have a coping mechanism, fight or flight thing going on.
The world that we live in has heaps of this going on.
We feel trapped in our lives, so we feel helpless, rather than helpful.
And the stuff that we do, no matter what should be doing, we feel we can never get ahead. why?
Because we haven't given it over to Jesus.
It might be a simple thing, it might be just giving it to the lord, it might just be handing it over time and time again.
We can be all busy doing what we're doing, but one thing that is requested of us, is to simply come.
Don't try and work it out, and reason it all, even thought it's human to do, but the more you start to hand it over, the more free we are as a human, and in God.
That's me for today.

helicopter prayers.
Hi there,
How's things?
I hope that things are well and good with you.
I was out today, not to the gym, but doing my errands, I can't go past second hand shops, so yes I did get another dress.
And a few little things, in a pop up craft store.
I am an impulse buyer, but I do like little cards and paper, and if I see earrings for presents I do get them.
and then just becaus eit was close to the paper bag princess, I did get my laura Ashley dress there.
just a few adjustments and I think it will look quite nice on.
Thanks to my amazing mum, that took up the last dress from there.
I then went over to my Uncle Marks garage, and had a look at Jan's prayer office, man it's amazing. she's stuck all these prayers on paper and stuck them close to the wall, I'd love to do that with my notice board, and make it a prayer board.
I stayed there for a cup of tea, then came home, and the Lord told me to look down and I saw all these Sycamore tree seeds, looking like helicopter rotors.
It brought to my mind, about the things, that we did as kids, we'd get them and just throw them up in the air, and then watch as seeds came flutters by us and on the ground, so I picked them up and I thought that's it.
that's my next post.
Sometimes, it feels like that, doesn't it? our prayers, are the seeds of the sycamore tree, we pray, and it feels like it all come ''chh chcc chh'' to the the ground.
But my friend your prayers don't go unanswered, it might for a time,we might loose faith for a time, but God is holding onto us.
All the more tightly.
We have our breakthrough, when the time is right.
We need to open and honest, if we're not making sense ask for guidence from people, and know that the lord is it in.
When Job, went through what he went through he had one more thing to do.
He prayed for it friends.
Yep you've it it, the ones that the Devil was using to get at him, he prayed for them, and that is what we need to do, pray inside outside, all around us, making us children of light.
Verses 4 of, Job chapter 42, says,
You said '' Listen and I will speak, I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. and I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes, to show my repentace.
When I had my break down, I visited heaven 3 times.
How do you know you've been?
Well, I've been praying for something to happen to my family that would bring us closer, for a long time, and my prayer was answered.
How you might ask?
Through a breakdown?
Yes.
I've been a totally different person, since then.
But let me tell you, what has been happening for me.
Recently I was drifting through, life, I was sending up helicopter prayers. throwing them up, and feeling like they've hit the celling then came back down.
but I was still praying for my family, for something to happen to bring us close.
I wasn't praying for a job, or for any situation to get better, I was just praying for something to bring us closer as a family.
So Jesus answered my prayers by taking off the scales and seeing angles.
1st of all the days leading up to my breakdown, I saw angels marching up and down our right of way, and that was awesome, then they were out by the lavender hedge, massive angels.
Then boom it happened, my breakthrough. not break down.
I went out of the body, and went through a tunnel, a really big tunnel with no volume, you couldn't really tell how big it was, it was big, and you couldn't see the arc at the top because of the angels flying you through in the spirit realm.
Once you got to the tunnel I saw a silver ocean, a beautiful ocean, that only had waves on it, when the holy spirit moved.
and when it didn't you see flowers, billions and billions of flowers.
and silver, hills, but as you got closer, these hills had silver towers, and the towers were mansions.
Then the people that your spirit recognizes for me I saw Rose, rose was lady, about my age now, when she committed her own life,
I had always wanted to see her again, because I knew that her voice was sealed for God through her singing I told her that when she was in my room, and her favorite hymn, was there is a green hill far, far away.
And in the garden, up in heaven there's people waiting for us, people in really big groups, and when your spirit reconciles, them, they stand aside for you to meet them.
So to anyone who has lost a loved one, through any death, they are up there waiting for us.
Rose had flowers in her hair, long blond, hair plaited and intertwined with flowers.
She looked beautiful, I forgot what we talked about, but we chatted away.
then it was time to go.
The second and 3 visits, were very brief, I went through a holding place, on the 2nd visit, and 3rd. visit.
this was like a holding place, of which was dark cold stone, these people believed, and they would hear the great celebrations, but would only watch from afar, I believe that this was shown to me, of the churches that don't believe in the state of Israel.
How dark and cold and damp this place was.
So when you think about your prayers, pray with all your heart, pray hard, fast, whatever comes to mind, pray.

,
How's things?
The second and 3 visits, were very brief, I went through a holding place, on the 2nd visit, and 3rd. visit.

Mercy and Grace.
Today I don't want to muck around, lets get straight into it eh.
Yesterday I touched briefly on Grace, and the love of God.
I woke up this morning and thought lets get into this Grace thing a bit deeper, and get into it.
I've chosen Ephesians, chapter, 2: 1-10.
How do we know that we have this Grace?
Because it was given to us, right from the start, from day 1.
Grace is an amazing thing, it continues to give, time and time again.
When we mess up, it keep going it never runs out, time and time again.
It never keeps a record of wrongs, it never keeps score, it never holds back it always gives.
The most amazing thing about grace is that it always chooses to love time and time again.
It's a supernatural thing, because it behaves the opposite of us.
This spirit is us all the time, the spirit of grace, that means it;s always, wins.
Coming to Christ with all this in mind, is a marvelous thing, he desires us to come just as we are.
brining nothing.
We are brought up to please people, children strive to great lengths to give their parents pleasure when they are little, this continues, until the child is taught to have free will.
Jesus just wants us to come just as we are.
Ephesians chapter 1, says about spiritual blessings he chose us before the world to be blameless and holy.
I wonder on our day to day encounters of God, when we pray to turn up, I wonder what he's going to say today.
His grace is even in the seasons, in every season of our lives, that's why we need to pray each day, for protection, but prayer isn't just going to God and talking to him, he also talks back to us.
And we get suprised at what he has told us.
We have redemption, in him.
He takes us back to the start, every day, in each new day that there is, there's a new start.
No matter, what yesterday was like or today will be like, or what tomorrow will be like, it always, always is brand spanking new.
Today is a gift, so don't waste it.
That is a what grace is.
It's not pre-loved, it's not second hand, it's always first hand, straight off the lot, like a new car, with out a price tag, and the lord whispers into you, ''that's yours.''
In today's society, we are so used to just settling for second best, cars, clothes, partners, there I said it.
Houses, plant pots, trade-me.
We live in an all consuming world of need.
We are none all the wiser with this.
If something breaks down, well we just get a new one.
We take out life insurance to make sure that our wives or husbands, are cared for long after we've died.
We make sure that everything is catered for. and that's not a bad thing, we need these processes in place, so that our loved ones, have the reassurance that they are cared for.
What is mercy then?
Mercy is, being compassionate, and giving treatment, towards someone that has wronged you.
That's is pretty powerful stuff.
Verse 11, of Ephesians, we read that, we are chosen having, been predestined according, to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
That is a powerful verse.
Being in the conformity, of his will, what does that mean?
Being in accordance, with his will, is going in step with it.
Much like walking with a friend, you're not walking any faster than them, or slower, you're walking together.
That is the way of Christ, we are walking with him, and should be walking with him every day, our journey's are different.
Mine is different to my parents, to my brothers. to my friends.
Each walk in Christ will be totally unique to you.
We need to be totally dependent on him, not looking to the right or to the left, but staying on the path, and it will go well with us.
This is not a threat, it's not a right or wrong situation, but we look only to him to purify us, to help us in times, when we need it.
I need it every day, when life does and doesn't make sense.
Learning to be content, when I have much or have less, we must always, have this as a compass in our lives, the needle in will change, it will move, but if we set our hearts right, we will be on the right path, and everything will fall into place.
Grace is walking in step with mercy, we can not have one without the other.
Well that's me for now.

Praising God for a living hope. 1st Peter, chapter 1.
Hello there,
I hope that you're good and well.
We've just had a fantastic prayer meeting, here at home.
So I thought I'd dive into 1st Peter chapter, 1.
We were praying today, for our city, and for the people in it, and that we would be a city on our knees.
We prayed for the people in our hospitals, and our health sector, that we would stand up and be counted for.
That we would have our phones on us, at all times, and be praying for people.
We often have plans for our days, and when we are in balance with Jesus steps, we are in his plan. we have all this legislation and rules about coming to Jesus, but he loves us just the way we are, he loves us all the same amount.
We can't make him love us any more or less, greater or less than value, he constantly loves us.
Watching over us, all the time, making sure that our feet does strike a stone.
We have this living hope, in us, all around us, like a spring bulb in the dark, even now, getting energized from being in the dark, having been hidden in the soil of Jesus, when the time comes, we flourish.
We progress, with Jesus, because he is with us.
This book in the bible, was written, in early A.D, 60s, before Peter was martyred in 67 or 69.
Our bibles are precious, precious books.
Just putting it out there, people are dying for their faith, and it hasn't stopped.
Too long we have become, this safe thinking society, that we don't need anyone to tell us what do, but we do need Jesus. He is the only way, the only truth and the only life.
We are holy, because Christ is holy.
Rejoice because you have come through the fire, and been made pure in the sight of Jesus.
Often we conceal, ourselves, we hide in the ways of others, we follow the ''other flock'' when we should stand up and be counted.
We have children, going through school not knowing their gender, we have students, in our University's that have so many choices to make, that we loose our true identity.
My life before my breakdown was borring, now it's anything but that.
I am so excited about what the lord is doing, in people's lives, we need people who are willing to preach, teach, pray. that is why, it is good to be with others who fully believe.
It might be in a big church, it might even be with 2-3 people, whereever you are, now, know, that we have this amazing living hope in us.
We're not spring bulbs hidden in darkness now, we are like Jesus, flowering in his garden, of Eden.
I wonder what it was like, back then?
When Adam and Eve totally relied on Jesus, they felt no shame in what they did, the relied on Jesus's every thing.
That must have been amazing, just to be with the Lord every day.
We can also be with the lord everyday like, them.
We face every trail, and tribulation, every day, but we know that with peserverence it, produces fruit.
Good fruit, none of this ''odd bunch stuff'' that you see in supermarkets.
we're not export quality, but with God's import quality, we can become export quality.
You might have dreams now, and you might have partially open doors, but, with Jesus on our sides, he makes those partially open doors fully open flung wide and we can walk through anything.
We are genuine quality, people of the lord,we have a higher calling.
How's exciting is that?
A higher calling from the lord.
None of this mundane, work, instead , work that is from the lord to fulfill.
We might not see Jesus working in our lives, in a human sense, rather we know he is working for our good, because he loves us.
We are receiving, the goal for our lives.
Amen thank you Lord.
We can do anything with his strength that he gives us.
We are made in his image.
Amen thank you Lord..
We are called to be holy, what does that mean?
Set apart for the lord, not in an old fashioned way, but in a way that makes us want others want what we have.
We need to prepare our minds for action, and be self controlled, set our hope on, the grace, of Jesus.
What does grace mean?
Grace means?
It means by on line dictionary, to give honour, or credit to someone or something.
Now days we have lost alot of that, we have posts of facebook, insta gram, of what we have for lunch, dinner, supper, second supper, our whole lives are based around food, who said what, what's going around, all that sort of rubish.
We give credit, and honour to ourselves, 99.9 % of the time.
But what if we give that all back to Jesus or the person who made the food, or the friend that we have?
We want to be around those people that jesus puts us in contact with, because he loves us and he knows, that what we need at any given time.
Being humble today, is an art, a true art of not taking credit, when it is tempting to be so.
We have the pure life blood of Jesus in us, we are without blemish or defect.
he was here long before the world began, but reaveled in the last days.
so that we are called to believe in him.
We go through this purifying process. because, we were impure, blemished defected, on all accounts.
Have you seen wool in a wool fadge?
It's dirty, it's oily, it's full of thistles, its ''daggy'' but you'd notice that the wool when a sheep has been shawn that the closser the wool is to the skin of the sheep, it's pure white, and when the wool has been washed it is pure white like snow.
We simply must go through this purification process, because it produces character, and hope.
The world always needs, hope it's crying out for it.
We are children of hope, what amazing thing, of our King Jesus Christ.
That is me, for now.

Psalm 144
Hi there,
How's it going?
Well I do hope with you.
A bit of murky gray day here. no sunlight, so we've all got the curtains closed, and it feels like we're all at Scot base down in Antarctica.
I've been experimenting with sour dough bread, my first one was a fail, but I've found a good method on how to do sour dough now.
It is really good fun, feeding your starter, so it grows, then put that into your bread dough.
I was thinking about how I can link this back into, my bible study. I might be wondering a bit today.
With sour dough you have to look after it, if you don't the starter dies. and you know when it doesn't look right, and that is when you have to start again.
The starter, captures all the wild yeast that is around, thats why I love it.
It does take a bit of time, to leave it to rise, before you bake it, you do have to do a bit of planning around where you want to bake your bread.
So that is my morning of sour dough, and the fun that it is making, bread.
I have to admit to, that this morning I just wanted to do a bible study on the Psalms, I will go into other books of the bible.
BUt today I want to talk about, praising the Lord, in times that we need to praise him.
Why do we praise God?
Is it because we know how good he is?
Is it because we want more of him in our lives?
Is it because, he knows the answer to everything?
Pretty Sunday school answers here, but you get the point, I hope.
Why do we go to church?
Is it out of great ful heart?
Is it because we've always gone, so therefore we should keep going to the same one?
Is it because Jesus has brought us through some things, in life that are hard, and still wants us to live our lives well?
David says at the top of this Psalm, he starts to praising the Lord, so much so he thanks God who trains his hands for war.
Back then Israel and still is a very volatile state.
First thing we should do, is praising God for the work that we do, and if you're like me that works seasonly it's hard, because you need money some coming in, but you are also listening to your body, and what it should be saying.
So first thing is, thanking Jesus for the work he has enabled you to do, even if you like it or not, or you see no change, keep praising him. Keep praising God, that will strengthen your spirit, to become resilient against the enemy, and resilient about what's going on.
Jesus always has our backs, you might not think so, you might be a valley of dry bones now, but he always has your back, he won't let you down, walk away, close the door turn the light off. He won't ever let you go.
The thing is, through we let go of him.
However he is so willing for us to come back to him, that he makes everything right.
Jesus delivers us, out of things we can't possibly humanly face.
How you might ask?
How you don't know?
Well that's right I don;t nor do I need to know.
But, when I was weak in hospital, I was phsycailly carried on Jesus shoulders.
and the 2 angels came and proteched me, on the 1st night I was there.
All I was saying was ''Jesus carry me.'' and he did.
he picked me up and said to just relax into his shoulders, and he carried me, when I didn't have the strength.
Verse 4 of Psalm 144, says, Man is like a breath, his days are like a fleeting shadow.
That is why we need to make every single day count, and be careful about how we use our time.
You can read in your bible, the progress we started off with, at the start at the psalm, to the middle, of the Psalm.
Then changing, tact, a bit about how awesome our Lord is.
And he does it just for us.
Then it goes into deliverance, and rescue, and reassurance, and safety.
Finishing off, with blessed are the people who God is the Lord.
We are always blessed.
Blessed in a warm dry house, with good parents, with medication to make people well again.
coffee to start our day, water that comes out of our pipes.
90 percent chocolate chip biscuits, at the bakery.
The relationships that we do, have are special, because they shape us to what we become. with our family, with your brothers, sisters, everyone. They hone us, to become arrows shooting forward, because arrows always go foward never backwards.
We are blessed because we know where we're going, and what our plan is for our lives.
That concludes my little study about Psalm, 144

Take time to listen.
Hi there,
How's your day going?
I hope that it's going well rather that you've had a good day.
I've been experimenting with bread, and I have had 2 attempts of making sour dough, one with dismal, results, and one, that I think will work.
It's always fun and daunting when you're experimenting with ideas and formulas to come up with a new bread.
However I am getting off topic again, today I am going to talk about, taking time to listen.
In a world where we live pretty much instantly, we get instant food, coffee, tea, net-flix, Internet on fibre. We can get anything, delivered to our door, without going out. we can get Uber drivers to pick us up, and drop us off, we can get take away coffees and we can get Insta gram photos of dogs on beaches.
We are living in a world, that doesn't take the time to listen and if we do, it's some what negative
What do we need to do, so that we can be a person, that changes this standard, and stand up for others.
I was once driving past in my car, and I saw a man, who was begging, and something made him sad. It touched me so much I drove around and brought him subway, and I was trying to find him, but, I couldn't. Someone helped him, and got him the help that he needed.
I felt guilty, that I was ''eating'' his subway, but he was no where to be seen. I saw him again yesterday, and I couldn't stop in the flow of traffic.
And it's convicting me, that something isn't right in this city that we live in.
We can blame the government, but what will they do in our city or for it?
Jesus always said ''you'll always have the poor.'' it might not be the best ''marketing'' tool out there, but we do need to look out for others, not just ourselves.
What do we need to do?
Well a well known proverb, goes ''those who can't teach.'' what do I mean by this?
Handling out food, is a good we all need to do it, but what if we can be a solution to the problem?
What if we teach people some basic skills to feed themselves?
What if we get some people like what Jamie Oliver did, take 15 at risk people, and put them through training and be part of his amazing scheme of feeding people?
What do you get?
People who lacked confidence, now, feeding people in one of the toughest hospo trades out there.
And I think South Dunedin is a great place to start?
Why?
Low social economical people.
A friend once told me,that food has goten so expensive, that people are having chip sandwiches, for their dinner.
No luxury of meat, no veggies, no protein, just that for their dinner.
So taking the time to listen, heals many things.
It makes you approachable.
It makes you compassionate,
It makes you valued.
It doesn't subtract, rather it puts you as an equal to people.
If we all take time to listen to people, the world would be a better place.

Don't forget to breathe
Hi there.
How's it all going?
A bit of cooler day out there, by the looks of it.
Winter might be coming, but goodness, didn't we have such amazing weather recently?
We got all the pruning finished of our 18 black current bushes, and red currents, and gooseberries.
I'm just wondering about the fruit trees, like the compact stella, and the pear tree.
Today, is short and sweet, because I have someone coming at 10:30 this morning.
It's about not forgetting to breathe, we can be so caught up in all our busyness, we think we're trying to earn our way in, by something, or doing something for others, that we can often burn out.
How do I know about burn out?
Well it's a feeling like no other, really, you feel like a All wheel drive car, stuck in mud, your wheels are turning but you're not going anywhere.
For me, I haven't had burn out, I had a break down, which was probably a good thing, bcause my head just had enough and it had to be refreshed.
I'm still the same person, I haven't changed much.
If I have changed it was probably because I was not depresssed but I was feeling more than my actions.
i had this deep sense of fear, ''if no one did it, then who else would.''
And us women get like that, and alot of men too.
Mental awareness is massive, so that is why we need to be kind to ourselves, and think of the options, of different things to do.
or sitautions that aren't good for us.
if something isn't good for us to do, be in job wise, or work wise. find something that, is.it might be writing down that goal, and getting something done each day to achieve it. You're keeping your dream alive.
It might not happen today or tomorrow, but by writing down ideas, where you want to go with it, are fantastic.
For me, it is, turning, the kitchen into a food certified kitchen, to make sour dough bread and different parts of the world biscuits.
I need to get certified, as soon as possible, but the ideas are there.
Id have a cup libaray, of nice cups, some of them my own, some are others, and have a bag libaray, and wrap my food up in brown paper. and string, and make nice brightly coloured bags for my bread to go in.
In the hope that people would return them, I'd put a senders address on the bags, with free post.
coffee cups, would be sustainable, in pottery, mugs, or if you had a favourite cup, you could use that as well.
So my ideas are coming thick and fast, just a way to, make it a reality.
That's what I'm thinking.
