The anointing of the holy spirit.

Hello there people.
Trust that you're having a really nice day.

What have you been doing today?

I've been basking the love of Christ, and we have filled up another book.

He has much to say.

So today, I want to share with you, somethings, that I've leaned in on.

Jesus is a person, who loves to communicate with us.

Jesus in your in your current situation.

He has taken me on a wonderful journey, and last night I felt his hand in my hand.

The anointing of the spirit, is heavy sometimes, sometimes it's light.
Sometimes, it's so joyful that all you want to do is laugh.

Yesterday I took communion twice.
Not to be self righteous, but in order to be under that anointing.

We do have a strong and perfect plea, to the father.
To come quickly, and stand in battle for those people in our lives, that fight against.

Jesus, hung on the cross for the victory, of us.
His anointing, is in us.
I wonder how often we grasp that, and I wonder, how much we really do understand our Christ?

I'd rather have Jesus than anything else in this world.

I'd rather be lead by his scared hands, than any world advice.

See when we fall under his anointing, his love runs deep.
It's not skin surface deep, it's the overwhelming power of Jesus working in our lives.

See, the time is coming, when the anointing of the holy spirit will flow again in our lives.

And we should be  in ministry every day, for him.
And to put on the full armor of God and fight, for those people in our lives.
And stand strong, for them. not to give up hope, but to really go towards the battle lines, and really go full force, with Jesus.

If you ask me, how I'm doing, I am so excited about what the lord is saying, it's so exciting for what God has for you.

You are not small and lowly, anymore.
You are a child of God.

We are  wearing ministry clothes every day, so don't hide your light so that others can't see it.
Jesus is, power over darkness.

My heart is for you know that you're under that same anointing.

Do not move until he says.

Don't let the night become the day, don't take the sadness, to the grave.
He is alive, and your burden is light, in him.

No matter what your going through, know that you have that some anointing and to keep your eyes open.
He will lead you, through situations he will make a way.

Chloe.

Hearing from the holy Spirit.

Hello friends.
How are you?
I hope that you're good and well.

Today I would like to share with you, something that is on my heart.

And that is hearing from the holy spirit.

We all want to hear him lead us into new opportunities, we all know the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but do we actually believe that it is Jesus in spirit form?

Second Timothy, 1:7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and sound mind.''

We read here that Fear is a spirit.

We might be fearful today, of what's going around us, but we have a conquer, that has won the battle over fear, and it is liar.

No matter what you're doing today, know that you are worthy of the things that you've called to do.

Fear has lost its grip on you, and that you're clothed with beautiful things in the spirit.

We do have a spirit, in us, that ignites with Jesus.
That it's not just a " thing'' that gets taught in schools.

We through the spirit, are ordained for a purpose.

See the spirit, leads us to love, without conditions.

With no strings attached.
Psalm 33 verse 1 says, Sing joyfully you righteous, it is fitting  for the upright to praise him.

That's you and me, we are upright and therefore we shall praise him.

See what we have is the spirit, in us, that keep fighting, and it means that you connected to the lord

It isn't over yet, but we're one step closer, to winning that battle.

My encouragement to you is whatever you're called to do, do it with all your heart.

You might have reached your limit, it's not over yet, we have shield of faith to use.
Our armor in the spirit isn't just for looks, it's to use.

The shield of faith, is what makes us strong, and the sword of the spirit, is to cut through to the enemies lines.

You're not a failure, you are success.

Jesus is the power over the darkness.

Jesus is our life song, so when we get hold of that, we are aligned to him.
We no longer have control over our lives.

We think differently, to others, we might not always be right, but we can change ourselves with the power of the spirit.

Clothing us, with the armor of God, is like putting on a bullet proof vest. the Enemy arrows ping off it, and go right back to him.

Recently my medicines didn't work, if failed. so I went back to the father, and he said that there was a reason why it failed, because he wasn't in the the med, or that particular one.

So I put on the helmet of salvation, and fought, see the spirit moves among us.

A real alive breathing spirit.

However it is a thing, to not be in total fear of, but put it to use.

Because we have spirit in us, we are to use it for building each other up.

Not for tearing each other down, that grieves the holy spirit.

Before lock down, mum got out a set of rules, to live by.
in the hope that it changes us.

I write this, because without a full heart change, we don't change our thinking.

We just go about our day, because that's our sinful nature.

We are called to serve others, and love them as ourselves.

What does that really mean?

It means not only looking into the interests of others, to be nosy, but to edivfy them.

The father truely loves us, and the spirit moves amoung us.

The father heart is to have everyone come to him.

The holy spirit loves it when we praise him.

I got given a dream, the other night, it was of the spirit, and me.
I was dressed in heavenly clothes, just beautiful unfolding clothes.
I was waiting by a pool  a fountain, that wasn't moving.
Then the spirit of the lord, came, and we talked.

And like that the spirit,  came alive and made the fountain flow.

Jesus is that unending fountain, of life, that your fountain might have ceased up, it might have rusted over time.
But the anointing of the holy spirit, is here.

And sometimes, he just wants us to stop talking and just listen to what he is saying.

The father truly loves us.

Jesus is our hope forever.

Jesus is so much bigger, than your ''problem'' at the moment, he's making the fountain flow through you again.

That is my word of encouragement.

Lets pray.

Dear Jesus, as we come before your throne, you reach out to us, with loving arms, that you want us to share in that throne with you.
And that alone is beautiful.

Lord I ask you to anoint those people, lord who's fountain has stopped flowing, lord will you begin a good work, in them, and carry it out to completion.

Lord for the spirit of fear, to leave people, and we get out our swords of the spirit, and we say in the Jesus name be free.
And with that, all evil has to leave.
Lord would you raise up a mighty army, who will stand strong for you, anoint them dear father, to be strong.
With your anointing oil, dear father, in your name I anoint those who need a touch of you dear father, a long deep touch of you in their lives dear Lord.

Teach us to pray in new ways dear lord, to see a revelation, come down from heaven.

In Jesus name. in your perfect in power.
Amen.

Have a Faith Lift.

I don't know about you.

I look at mum's face creams, and wish shivers I wish that was given to me.

All I have is a 3 in cleanser toner, and facial scrub.

She's got clay masks, and all sort of goodies.

I actually used, hers the other day, and boy it worked.

We also share some of the clothes as well, like her beautiful peter pan jacket.
My fav, or her shirt with owls on it, again one of my favs.

Mum's got some really nice things, she just knows how to put it together.
If you know what I mean.

And that takes confidence and faith in yourself to do the job.

Not that any face mask, will help you with that, you need to know yourself that you can do it.

I was talking to a man on my walk, today, and we talked about how it is important to have good structures in your life.
It might be a friend, or family member, or your work friend.

And you get to a point in life, that all your certificates, and quals, doesn't matter, it's how you relate to people.

On of my certificates, that I've ever got beyond, level 4, is my grade 8 speech and Drama certificate,   speech and oral communication. From Trinity collage London.
I also won a silver award for my grade 8 speech, as the examiner, had to nominite, someone, and she nominated me.
so I have this medal on my wall, next to Grace and Tallato my sponsored children.
But I had another child at that time to give to, Zinash, who is now out there in the world, doing what she loves.

I'd love to see how she is, as I picked her up as a 14 year old girl.

Now as much, as I love these girls, and my certificate from Trinity, it is useless,  if I don't use it.

What's the point of having the medal if I don't use it for the kingdom of God?

So I'm going out again in faith, and praying that I can use my cert to the kingdom of God.

Maybe it's time to dust off the things you've learn t, and then actually follow through on them.

And embrace the fear of not knowing how to do certain things.

Remove the former labels off your life and start to walk in that new found freedom.
That the experiences we go through, are the ones, that enrich our lives so much.

One thing, I love hearing is people doing that, hearing the call of God on their lives, and really just going after it with all they've got.

Faith lifts us up and give us hope, to what we want to accomplish in life.

It is the eyes, in us that we need to make peoples situations better.

And sometimes, our own situations blind us from seeing the big picture.

How come, I'm like the person I am today?

How have I put myself on the line to serve others?

In my own personal walk, both in God and with living with the people around us
is, no matter what happens, people love you reguardless of who you are.

It is important to take things as they come, and not jump the gun.

And to process things, in a way that is wise and will build each other up.

And not to take offense so easily, or control or manuplate, the people around you so that you get what you want.

Rather do it wisely and with thought.

My faith lift, is that I'm one for all these ideas, look I thought I'd do a landscape garden course in the lock down.
I can't even look after my own pocket sized hankerchief garden.
so putting in a water feature, isn't going to happen.
So I pulled out of that course.
Somethings aren't to be.

But somethings are, and when they are, they are given of God.

In my personal life, my job, my horses, my sponcered children, my family and friends, and keeping in touch with them, is of God.
We need these friends in our lives, that sharpen us, as it's good to be sharp for Christ not blunt for him.

My heart is that out of his glorious riches, that we sow good seeds to people to be gracious to them.
That means not blowing up, and paying for it later.

To harness our will, to Christ.

And be vulnerable but yet know who we are in him.

Being vulnerable, doesn't mean to have it all clear, and off you go hunky dory.

It means, that God's grace is there, so when we do get it wrong, we don't get it major wrong, and regret things.

It means we can keep it real in the faith, if we struggle with stuff we struggle, we get grit and we get traction and we get up again.

So like Mum's fancy face creams, and clay mask, they are superficial, but our faith is more than skin deep.

That's my thoughts for you today

Philelmon

Today I thought I'd change it up a bit.
As I'm using Dad's bible to write this.

This is an interesting story, because again Paul is writing it.
Paul is again in prison, so we think, and comes across a run away slave, called Philemon.

A slave that has run away from his master.
Paul starts of in his letters with thanks giving prayer.
He calls us to pray, that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding, of every good thing, we have in Christ. He later goes on, about love and encouragement, because you brother have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

Now, we all need refreshing, and we all need to know that we're  encouraging and building each other up.
As Paul comands us to do, in the bible.

It says here, that they were so active in their love, that they refreshed the hearts of the saints.

We are saints, in fact, we're more, than saints, we sons and daughters of God.

Made alive in him.

Paul's plea for Onesimus,
This is where it gets exciting.

Paul is getting older, he has written to Timothy to take over the mantle, and to be  strong in the faith.

Paul is in prison for his faith, and finds Onesimus  who became like a son to Paul while he was in chains.

He states that formally he was useless to you, but now he has become useful to you and me.

While we're here, we may as well be useful to God and serve him in many ways.
Not just in one way and be done with it.

Our lord is interested in everything we do, we are called to be resourceful with what we have.
If it's the power of the word, then teach it, run with it.
If it's writing do so that it will edify, the lord.
If it's caring for others less that yourself, do it as the lords hand is on it.

Onesimus had a change of heart, perhaps prison taught him a few things, while he was in there with Paul.

It's in those hard times, when we're face with, that we press into God.

And pray in the spirit, free people in the spirit.

Sometimes it seems easy to keep a lid on all the things, that we go through, it's not until we take the lid off, we see that it was a fruitless excersise.

Onesimus was made useful in the pit, in the jail, and Paul does something about it.

He writes to Philemon his boss.

Now, I'd imagine ,that Onesimus was scared to go back, he probably ran away with good reason.

We all need a little time on our own to find out who we are.
And find the true God given Identity in him.

We find out as we grow older, we can't depend on our Parents faith, and prayers.

We read in verse 17, If you consider, me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.

This is like a new version of the parable of   the prodigal son, but in the New Testament.

It is so easy isn't to welcome the people that you're friends with, but what happens, if you welcome people outside of your bubble?

To give hospitality, to them?

We have so many rules about what we can and can't do

But what if, we break some of those rules, and pay for someone's grocierers, or if we're in lines at the supermarket, let others go before us?

Or something dear to my heart is picking up another child from Tear fund?

Or timely words to refresh the soul?

Paul says, if you consider me a partner  welcome him as you would welcome me.

How is God humbling your heart today?

We are welcoming God, when we let others in on our lives.

We arent' suposed to live as hermit crabs just sticking to what we know.

The fact, that Paul was in chains writing this letter to Philemon, meant that we  are called to do something about other peoples, outcomes.

It might be welcoming a child, having someone stay in your your place for  a time.
Offereing your garden as a therapy sanctuary to those people who need refreshed.

And those ideas, that God gives you, they come from him.

So my challenge for you today is.

In what way can you be like Paul who saw Onesimus who had a new given goal, to become useful to serve Christ?

Lock down isn't an excuse, start to plan now, for ways to serve him.
You might be surprised that   you might already be doing it without thinking about it.

You might already be using your gifts he's given for the benifeit of others.

Jesus will show you the way, if you only just trust him.

1st Corinthains, chapter 1 and 2:6

I thought I'd give you a bible study today.
I just feel like it, since my headache has gone.
Praise the lord.

So lets get straight into it.

Because I can't wait to get started.

I'm going to flick back and forward to chapters 1 and 2,

Starting at Chapter 2 of Corinthians verse 6.

Wisdom from the spirit.

Sometimes we look to others in our lives, that are wise.
It could be a mother, your dad, your grandma, your brothers and people that you look up to.
Wise advice, and sometimes yes we need to get professional help.

Verse, 10, in chapter 2. Says, ''But Gd, relvealed it to us by his spirit. The spirit, searches out all things even the deep things of God.''

That's a pretty powerful verse right there, because the spirit is revealed to us, by his spirit, and the spirit searches out all things even the deep things of God.

My question is, what does that look like?

Well the same spirit of God is in you and me, and it helps us to be wise.

I'll give you an example, as you know the lord has been talking verbally to me, about my life. Sometimes thick as in thick darkeness comes before he talks.
Like this isn't just room dark, this is thick, thick darkness.
 Then boom Jesus talks.

I was recently on a medication, that wanted me to commit suicide, now I beleive that was from the Devil, was he in my medication that doctors prescribed?
I'm not to sure, but this voice just wouldn't budge.
Then in my mind, was terrible, augment, Jesus had a go at him, in my mind.
And I was thinking shivers, it's really something there.

It was so bad,I cried out ot Jesus, and he just held me, and stopped the voice of death.

I went back on my right medication, and all is better.

I believe that there is a spiritual r helm, and Jesus was fighting for me.

Now the same spirit of God is in me, and I wasn't going to give up that easily.
I told the spirit of death, that I had to much to loose, and I was no way doing what he wanted.

So friends, my story is true, and you are not alone in this fight. you have the Spirit of God, in you.

Wisdom comes by the spirit of God, we need to hone it and be able to be accountable, to God and to man, people that we trust.

I've seen in the spirit Jesus fighting for his believers, and darkness fleeing, it has to flee. there is no life in the spirit of darkness.

Just as I'm accountable, to my family, and to my doctors, that any sign of changes, I have to tell them. and I did, they were able to quickly step in, and  make a postivie change.

My friend, you are not alone in this batter, Jesus loves prayer, the more we praise him, the more he wins over our battle field of the mind.

We also need baptism of the spirit.

We need daily comunion with him, and speak in tounges over ourself and to take comunion, this isn't just bread and juice, or bread and wine. this is showing the enemy that there is no open door for him to come in.

I believe, that there's to many open doors, and that we've let him come in, and enterianted our thoughts.

Being baptised in the spirit, means you can fight for your friends and family in the spirit.

My frined John does this all the time, he's in india at the moment, serving the lord.

But what does that fighting mean?

It means putting on the armor of God and fully believing in the battle.

Going straight on for the cause of Christ.

2 long we have had a spirit of compleancy in the church.
We read in Revelation that, the lord hates luke warmness.
He would rather have us hot or cold.

Paul writes, that we are baptized into Jesus, and his spirit, not under any other person.

SO we need to have a spirit of accountabilty, someone to really have iron sharpen iron to test out things.

First of all, we need a spirit, of thank-giving.

Thanking him, for what he's done, that he will be glorified in your situation.
See when I called out to Jesus, that time when the spirit of death, he came running.

See when we call on the name of Jesus, he comes running, because he's a good, good father.

Honesty.

I'm taking this from the chapter, 1:11 of 1st Cortinthains.

Please read it, I laughed when I read it.
We all need, accountability, we all need to follow Christ, not the present popular videos about what other churches are saying.
And def not the latest conspiracy theroys of covid 19.

Jesus has this in control, and he walks everything for his good.

We need to follow one Lord and Saviour and that is Jesus Christ.

Well that's all I have for you this morning, on a brilliant sunny sunday

When Jesus makes the impossible possible.

Hello there,

How's it going this morning?
I hope that you're having a really awesome day.

Yesterday I talked about anger, and that does for us as humans.
Today I want to talk about when God comes through for you in a supernatural way.

I recently went through a medication, change it was dark, it wasn't for the better. I still trusted that the lord's hand was in it. and that I wasn't going to do what that voice said to do.
I had plenty to love and live for.

I wasn't going to give it up.

I had to press into God last night, and have him come through, he indeed did.
And more, for the first time, I shared with Mum what he's been saying to me.

And the times, he came through for me, the boundless times he came through, time and time again, he'll do it for you.

If you believe truly in him, he'll make the impossible, possible.

See when he resurrected he tore the vail in half, and made a way for us.He is the high priest, he's your father, he's your comforter, he's your healer and restorer.

And sometimes it takes a while, for that to go through, to sink deep in your heart.

Jesus has made a way for me, and you, he's called you his own child.

And he's not going to stop there, he's going to finish what he's started.

Sometimes you see on the Internet, Pinterest fails, those craft rainy day projects that we all try and fail.

Jesus takes those things and finish those projects off.

Well that's all I have for today.

So clear now.

Today I got mad, like really mad.
I ran down the hill full boar.
I ran away from home.
to my favourite beach and cried.
I just wanted Jesus to show up, and just zoom call to heaven and take me up with him.

Have you got to that part in your life? when you've just had enough.

For me, it was something said, and I just said to the person, I haven't come back to be door mat, and ran off. I know pretty sharp words.
I speak my mind sometimes.

I was out of there.
I ran down the hill crying, so upset. I just wanted Jesus to come walking on the water close to me.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our tears, that we are blinded by what is the beauty in full view.
I am also on medication that treats bi polar, not that I have it.
Now I understand, that sometimes it's not the best to run off, I know that.

It's not a good trait, so what was a miss understanding, really got out of hand.

We are all human, and we all mess up from time to time.
None of us have it perfect.

Jesus came to the earth for that very reason, for an imperfect world.

My heart is for you to know, that you don't have to have it perfectly sussed out, you don't have to have it all together.

There's beauty in the mess.

It how we see the mess. it might just be miss understanding, it might be more than that, but know that in your anger don't sin.

That means, don't let the sun go down on your anger.
Make it right before you go to bed.

You know it's easy, isn't to just hold on to it, like festering gift, but know, that you are loved, and that Jesus wants to take it.

He wants to take everything that you have.

My friends, if that's you, and you're holding onto something so tight, eventually it will break.

And you will find, a person, who wipes away every tear.

Gentle within your soul.

Sure you can get angry, but don't abuse that anger, Jesus came and made a way for you.

And you are his hands and feet, you are loved, beyond words.
you are gathered up his is folds of his garments and held on his lap.

And Jesus takes you back, he takes you right back, to the start again, and he sets you off on a good stretch.

Just believe in the name of Jesus, and he comes out of no where, and comes to you, and pick you up and carries you to where you need to be.

Right at the heart of Christ.

So that's my words for today, go make it up to the person, saying your sorry, means a lot to that person, it might just might be humbling for that person to hear that they are free as well.

Forgiveness, should be a gift not held on for dear life, but freely given so that you may live in that freedom.

Slow release Fertiilizer

Hello there my friends.

I'll keep writing, just in case you feel alone.

I hope that you're good and happy where you are.
Know you are blessed, and highly favored by the lord.

Today I want to share with you, something that has been on my heart.
And that slow release fertilizer.

I know what a topic to pick.

Yesterday I shared with you how God was faithful to Abram, in Genesis 14.15. 16 chapters.

Slow release fertilizer, is much like Jesus promises to us.

We need to be in the right soil to grow, no use being in a root bound soil where you can't grow, and only limited by your own circumstance.
Jesus, sees beyond your circumstance. and cares for your every need.

Jesus, still has the map, the GPS system for your life, and nothing is suprise to him.
If a good idea comes to you, do it, because he's put it there.

Trust him, even thought you might be shaking like a leaf in the wind, cling to him with all you have, and he will not make your foot slip.

See Jesus, is faithful to all he has made, and he will bring to pass. Every word of knowledge, and every promise of God.

Those little promise cards, along your journey, is like markers on your faith race, you're getting closer and closer to your goal.

And trust, what does that look like?
We like to trust the people around us, that they are right, our family members, that we are loved, and live happily with each other.

The child next door that loves to come around?

Why?
Because he sees us as his only friend.

And we shouldn't be so mean about ''me time''.

And that is adding ''slow fertilizer'' to that little boy, being gracious, because we serve a Christ, that was first gracious to us.

Grace is another slow release fertilizer, to people, even if we don't always see their way.

And that is ok too, because we are all different. and born to be different.

Jesus is our  gardener of our lives, he knows when to prune things away, so that we can grow out, and up for him.
He takes us out of our current situation that is root bound going no where, stuck in the grind of things, and he takes us out and re pots us in a bigger place, he might even choose to not put us in a bigger pot, but in the garden it'self.

Jesus is faithful to all he has made, and kind and gentle.

Even though your thoughts might be everywhere, they might not be clear, Jesus takes them, and holds them dear, and does something about it.

In my concluding thoughts, let Jesus be the slow release fertilizer that you need, let him work your soil of your heart, and open up to Him and tell him what you need. Press into him and he will train you up in the way you should go, like a beautiful well trained tree, bearing it's fruit in season.
Psalm 1.

So take time today, to go to Christ, run to him and tell him, what you need, you might need more trust, * fertilizer. to make your fruitful in your season.

Be kind to everyone blessing them in the name of Christ.

That is all for today.

Finding the Hope, the Love, that we need.

Hello there my friends.

I do hope that you're and good.
I am good.

I want to write today, about something that is dear to my heart.
And that is genuine care.

Jesus cares for us, and he knows our needs, I am strongly believing in that.
He's not surprised by how we act.

He sees everything that is going around, and not surprised if we have mountain moments or valleys moments. He's right in the thick of it.
As my aunt says, '' the closer you are to the top, nothing really grows, though the views are amazing.'' What she's saying there, is God's got us on a journey.

In the valleys there's foliage trees beautiful flowers, pretty things, it's up to us if we see them or not.
Or we get so busy, that we are blind to it.

See Jesus, isn't reminded, of the past, he's not held by the past, he's not there in the past, the past is dead to him.

And the longer we live in the past, we stay there, and we don't move, from the valley to the mountains, we walk around one more time around it just like the Israelites.

Now you might be thinking, where am I going with this.

But just be with me for one more moment, please.

I chose, Genesis, 15, 16, for a reason.

Because Abram had to wait a long time, for his prophesy to come true.

It was Sarah his wife that wanted to jump ahead.

God came to Abram one night, and said to him, he'll make his descendants, as numerous as the stars.

And Abram believed it, see Abram saw God.

And when you see God working in your own life, you know, that everything will work out well, and for your benefit.
You might be in some deep waters, crying in the spirit, wanting it to change, but the lord is reminding you that he's still on his throne.

We can't make his mind change, we can't tell him what to do, his ways a perfect.

Getting back, to verse 9, of Genesis. chapter 15.

Abram believed for this to happen, a son, it says in verse 6 of 15. that Abram believed the lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Now what does that mean?

It means, that Abram believed so much in the lord, for a son, that he brought it to pass.

Amazing stuff, that the lord thinks of you and me, and I believe that he credits the good things to pass.

You're in the waiting room of God, and he calls you through and when that happens man alive get ready.
Because he can fast track where you think you're behind, and fast track stuff, to the finish line.

Think of all the good things in your life, that have happened, because GOD CREDITED it to happen?

That you are the head and not the tail, you are a treasured child of God.

Abram knew God so well, that he brought him a sacrifice.
and after he killed them, he left the birds whole, on the alter, but after he killed them, he let the lord have it.

We have Jesus as a sacrifice, so we don't do burnt offereings anymore, but my question is.
What are you willing to sacrifice today to your Lord and Saviour?
Is it your job?
You're family?
You yourself?
Is it your friends?
What is the lord asking of you to sacrifice?

For me it's my sponsored children, Grace and Talato, so I put them in my prays in my hands, and hand them over to the lord.
For only the lord will keep them safe and out of harm.

I can't only supply them with prayer, support, doctors, and clothes, and my letters.
I can't do anymore than that.

So Abram here, sacrifices, himself, to the lord.

And the lord blesses it.

Now we read that Abram goes into a deep  deep, thick and dreadful darkness comes over him. then the Lord comes close to him.
Interesting here, that a thick and  dreadful darkness comes, over him.
Then the lord appears.

I don't know about you, but have you had a thick and dreadful darkness come over you at night? or you  know if you're in a dangerous place, you just get a bad sense about being there?

Then boom, Jesus light comes in and everything works out well.
There's a saying that it's always darker before the dawn.

We have this hope in Christ, that we can trust him, that even though it's darker just before the dawn, Jesus does ''turn up.''

Still we find, that Abram is faithful to God.
He was used by a manipulative wife, (Sarah) to get what she wanted a son by surrogate wife, to bore him a child.

Sarah got fed up waiting.
She believed God for a son, but didn't want to stoop down and put herself on the sacrifice.

In verse 3, of Genesis 17, Abram fell face down, and God said to him, that his covenant still stands. and God, (Jesus) reminds him.

Abram here never gives up hope, and we shouldn't give up hope, because of it.

And it's ok to struggle, and wrestle with that for a while.

You might be in sad situations,  that you might not see a way out of it.
But we still come to the conclusion, that Jesus runs in our direction, he still stays with us.

Sarah  jumped head, then sent poor Hagar away, and the lord came to her.

See chapter 16.  so now  we know that Jesus is faithful to all he has made, and he is faithful to you.
Jesus is faithful to all he has made.

If you are without love, and without faith. if you're troubled, worried, because you haven't done enough, or said enough, or acted enough.

Know it isn't a point scoring system with God.

There is no such thing as ''getting his attention''

When it comes to doing good works.

He loves you the same as anybody else.
and you don't need to have it perfectly sorted out.

As we follow, the story of Abram, we see that he is an intercessor for a city, in chapter, 19.
And 3 angels come to visit him in chapter 18.

See interceding, in our prayers on friends behalf is amazing we see Jesus in all his splendor fight.

I've seen it and it's beyond words, there's horses, there's armor you see him fight, and you see the darkness just melt away as the Good Good father approaches.

See Jesus always is one that you can trust.

I'll leave it, there, as I don't want you to feel over worked.
But I just want to say, a few things.

What can you do today to sacrifice to help others?

1.Do you believe that Jesus can really help your situation?
If so, write down the ways that he's revealing his plan to you.

2. Know that Jesus is always faithful to all he has made.
He doesn't let you out of his sight.

That's my  thoughts for today

Psalm 4. verses 1 and 2.

Short and sweet today.
How's your life going?
I'm currently on different medication, and I've been taken double the amount.
It was by accident.

I'm on the right dose now, but it will take a while for my body to get through the this time.

So weather or not you're on medication we struggle with believing.

David struggled with this, in verse 1. He says '' Answer me when I call to you. O my righteous God.
Give me relief from my destress be mericful to me, and hear my prayer.''
Sometimes we struggle with believing, and sometiems the walk does get rocky.

But know that it doesn't get rocky for a long time, and know, that your walk with Christ will get smooth again.

He doesn't let us, just figure stuff out because of lack of knoweledge.
He lets us think, because he celebrates us every day.

Sure he understands that, he made us.

David wants an answer and wants it quickly.
Does it sound familiar to you?

And in this time of need, where there's so many unknowns, we need to trust Jesus.
With our lives.

It says in the bible, that blessed are the people who don't see Jesus, but still believe.

And sometimes we just need to say the name of Jesus, in our darkest nights, and the piercing light of Jesus comes into our rooms.
And his presence is just there.

Know that you are loved, you are safe, and you are in his plan for your life.

He has a specif plan for you.

Don't look around for a better one, learn to trust him with the small things and those small things grow, into bigger things.

With his all surpassing Grace, he  still has his hand on your life.

While taking the wrong dose of medication, I am vindicated by grace that I am still here.

Maybe that you're rescue story, maybe you're here because someone stood in the gap for you?
And fought for you.

That is what  your ''answer is,'' and be patient.

This is only one of the fruits of the spirit.

Love, joy, peace, patient, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control.

They don't come easily, or wrapped up in a box with a cute little ribbon, you have to hone your skill at doing it.

It is easy to love the people around, harder to love someone that doesnt' always see your way, so you compromise.

Joy, is a beautiful thing, it makes the bones in your body strong.
Peace is the art of knowing that if everything around is chaos you can still be peaceful in certain situations, and not  loose it.

Patient, is not jumping the gun then blaming it on someone, we always like to play the blame game, Eve was an expert of it, she blamed her sin on the devil.
So when you've got the past coming up, to put it back into the past, say to that spirit that came up and reminded you of it, say that you're a dead person to that, and Jesus resurrection power is with you.

Kindness, is being kind to everyone, even when you don't feel like it.
Goodness is being good to people, even though you don't feel like it.
So those are my thoughts for today.
 Lots of love

Way Maker.

Hello there,
How's life going?
I hope that you've got your cup of tea, and you're enjoying your time alone with God.
Knowing him as a complete person..
That is my prayer for you.
I'm sure you've sung in church, the song ''Way maker'' it's a very popular worship song.
And for good reason.
In the song we sing, some powerful lyrics.
I'm paraphrasing here,  that Jesus touches every heart, and that he's our light in the darkness.
I want to stop there, because I believe that every heart, is touched by God.
 that he mends, every heart.
He turns our lives around, from where we are, and he puts us on solid ground.
He does not let our foot slip.
Jesus runs towards us in our direction, saving us from all the things, that come our way.

Do you really believe that?

There was a favourite song,  in the 90s called when God ran.
I encourage you too look it up,because it is a very powerful song, about God taking us back, time and time again.

You might think you've reached the lowest of the low, that somewhere you can't get out of it, but just the sound of Jesus running towards us picking us up from where we left off from and carrying us through the things of life.

Jesus can be trusted, with you things in life the ones that you think are to heavy for him to carry. the deepest darkest secrets comes collides with his truth, they are not to be secrets anymore.

I am a new creation, the old has passed and the new has come.

Jesus is always making us new people, new things to create and enjoy, we are called to serve him, with everything we have.
Lacking nothing.

Now if we come into an alignment with what he says, to do. why do we battle so much in the flesh?

First of all, we are human, we will stuff up time and time again.

We have an all loving father to take us back, and carry us to where he thinks we should be.

It says in the bible, that all like sheep we have gone astray.
Sheep don't have a gps system, now from coming from a farming background, they always follow the leader, if there's a gate open for the sheep to go through, you've got to keep your space for them to go through.
And get your dogs behind you, to drive them through the gate.

Now Jesus, waits patiently, for us to go through his open gate, it might be a new job, or new place to live or new promotion.

The question is, do we trust him, that gate is open for us to go through?

Jesus is our way maker, he makes a way for us where we don't see a way.

He has called us to be sons and daughters of him, that we have the invitation, to sit on his throne with him.

That is amazing gift of grace given to us, so that we may live freely in the life we've been given.

My question is, do you think it's time to put off your old self, and cloth yourself with Christ as the center?

To say yes to the invitation of his grace, that is freely given.
And come to him, and see him running in your direction, people might have walked away, they might have written you off as lost cause.
But know this, you are never a lost cause for Christ.
You're a winning cause for him.

He picked 12 fishermen, without any education, to be followers of him.
No person is unworthy to be called by Christ.
Everyone wins.

That's my thoughts for today.

TIme to empty out the compost bin

Hello there fellow friends.
How's life going for you?
I hope and I pray that you're thriving in life, not much surviving.

From where I'm writing, the lights are pretty on the water.
We've all had tea and now it's time for some writing.
I had a delicous talk to my friend Abigail today, all my friends are special.
I've been teaching my brother how to cook, so we've done about 4 meals for the family.

It's been really lovely and interactive, he gets the ingrients, he's also supermarket boy as well, and he researches a recipe and we just go for it.

But today I want to talk about emptying out the compost bin.

We did 3 of them today, and it got me thinking about the compost bins that we have in life.

Compost if you don't know what it is is, food scraps, no meat, and into a bin, and let the worms do it's work.
And a good sign of a good compost, is  plenty of worms.
It also helps if you have a bit of moisture in the compost the worms love moist damp dark invorments.

So i'm wondering, how are you going in your current situation?

Are you getting plenty of sleep?
Plenty of rest?
Are you listening to your body?

Are you taking on too much?
Are you snapping at people?
Are you getting fustrated at people?
Are you wanting to control situations that are beyond your control?

Are you handing things over to Jesus?

Are you letting him have the whole part of your life?

See that's where we get dry, and that's when we go into the just surviving.
Not thriving.

The lord wants everything, and the more you spend time with him, the more you hear his voice.

And write things down, I've got pages and pages of things he's been telling me.

It just goes on.
And I'm finding that he wants to be in on every decision I'm taking, even down to the ridding school the right one to attend.
He's changing me from the inside.
So he's conditioning my ''compost bin'' inwardly.

So is it time to go back to Jesus, and see what he says about the soil you're cultivating.

Well that's all I have for today.

Sons and daughters of God.

I don't know about you, but sometimes we hear a good sermon, and we think about it, and it gradually goes away.

Then some times there's a really awesome sermon, and it stays with us, the whole week, month or even years.

You can probably think back to a sermon last year or last month that was really good, and that the lord spoke to you in that time and place that you needed.

I wonder, if we just learn to stop, and think about something, that we could hear Jesus voice.
Rather than just pray at him, expecting something in return.

Like some sort of Christian prayer vending machine.
Jesus is so much than that.

He has given you a new name and authority to do work in peoples lives.
We are considered heirs of Christ.

Now if we're heirs of Christ, we have the same power as him in our lives.
We can run and not grow weary, we will walk and not grow faint.

We will treat evil principalities and not fear death.

We can change the atmosphere with just worship Jesus.

We are to be fighters for the word of Christ.
Mighty warriors for him. not paying any attention to the lasted internet video about covid 19. Covid so far I know, is dead we are not to have heart of fear over this thing.
And see how many people live in fear, people are thinking that they have Covid long before they are tested for it.
We are called not go along wtih the lasted video, roaming the earth.
If it's not of God,  it's of the opposite

We are called to be strong in the word, and when we hear the lord, we have to do what he says.

David, was a man after God's on heart. He lead the israelites into a right king ship after being so lost with Saul.

He brought up the ark of the lord, when it was in captivity for 20 years.

And he danced in the streets.

His wife saw this, was was outraged, that he would be wearing, the armor of God.
And he was dancing with all his might.

Now, we  need to take some action here, and that is, change our attitudes towards some people.
And be genually happy for them and dance along with them.
Davids wife was outraged, that how dare he be so happy.
When he made up his mind to get the Ark of the Lord, up out of  captivity, into a place of blessing.

We need to have a strong work ethic for the lord, and learn to serve with him along beside him and also for people, Paul says in the bible to serve people as if you're serving the Lord.

We are serving the lord.

And we need to get rid of all the petty offenses, that come our way, that hinder us.
We pray to the one and only God, the has delivered us from all that enslaves us.
and calls  us his sons and daughters.

You are loved, and you are cared for, you are not abandoned, or left alone.

But when you hear Jesus calling you into your rightful place, go with it with all your heart, for whatever is loosed on heaven is loosed on earth.
We are no longer slaves to the past, we are free from all that intangles us.

And the battle is won, by Jesus, we can see into the spirutal world.
If we only bow down on our knees and pray to be opened to it.

I'm a firm believer, of this.

I want to say very clearly, that it if whatever is loosen in the Heavenly r helm is loosed for us down here.

And be prepared to pray warfare over your family, putting the armor of God on and stand strong in the spirit.

And in the gap of your family so when evil does come, you can see it coming and not be afraid and fight for your family.
Jesus when you see him fight, it's beyond words.
Because he loves you, and he is prepared to go into war over your very being.

He is also our comforter, in times when it's hard.

This is the Jesus I fall in love with.

And he calls you into kingship with him.

My aunty Jan, drives around in her car with a plastic crown where everyone can see it, normally where you put your sun hat or a box of tissues.
She's got a crown.
And I asked her one day, about her crown, and she said'' chloe, it's to remind me that I'm a princess of God, and when I'm out and about, I am so close to him.''

Sometimes we all need those reminders, visual reminders that we are kings and queens of God.

So whatever you do today, no that you've got the seal of aprroval from God, that whatever you do, today will be blessed.

Let love lead.

Hello there.
How's life?
Today I want to tell you about leading in love.

I was listening to some music, on the radio and came across this song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiysSEYgxUI

It has been on my heart, so I thought I'd let it be the theme, for my post.

In the bible, the bible is full of love, you might even be familiar with the love chapter.  In 1st Corinthians 13.

It is often read out in weddings.

What happens if we, lead by love by our own actions?

What can you do, in this lock down to lead by love?

As we go into level 3 of lock down, what can you do for others?
What can you do now to led by love?
Email your friends and tell them that you're thinking about them.
Perhaps plan now, when you come out of lock down, to see people that really mean a lot to you?

Ask for Godly advice, about things you're facing.

It might be life changing choices, courses in your study that you're not to sure about.
Moving out of home, is a big step for independence.

Are you moving out to study, at a different Uni, courses, or are you moving out, because  of control and anger?

When we don't lead by love, we lead by force, and control.

If we don't lead by love, how are we setting examples for others?

We live in fear, and we often confuse, fear and confusion with love.
Because what fear and confusion, does is it limits us, from leading in love.

We aren't scared by love, we are called to love all people. but if we live in a controlled iron rod type leadership, we can often see Jesus as that.

So we need something to encourage us, and we all need it.
We all need those friends in life, we can really have a heart to heart relationship  with. you don't need a heap of friends, or so called friends on Face book.
But you do need a few, studies show you only need 3 close friends, to depend on.

Not 124 Face Book frineds, that aren't really true friends.

So I've gone off my page, and having a fast from facebook.

And it has been so freeing.

So I encourage you to de activate your page.

And spend time writing letters to your grandmothers,  emailng friends, you might just get something back.

I was greatly encouraged with cleaning up my room, and I found a  thank you card from Tear fund, that one past girl I sponsor didn't need my money anymore.

I was greatly encouraged in my spirit, that I'm doing a good  thing.

And I encourage you to look into your spirit, come up with a list, or mind map, about the things that you love, about yourself, and what you've been doing.

See it might be breaking the cycle, for a child, it might just believe in them, that all it takes is a bit of spare money, money that the lord has blessed you with.
and you've written to them, you've clothed them, you've love them.
Then over the years you build such a beautiful way with them that the time comes, and they don't need to you anymore.

And to me, that is leading by love.

My challange is, what are you doing today that you can lead by love?
It might be putting the washing out, doing the supermarket shopping.
Or it might be something bigger than that, it God might have called you to do something with your life, that you'll never look back on.

So lead by love
Chloe

Concluding thoughts.

Hello,
How's it going?
I don't have a topic to talk about today, I'm just going to wherever Jesus takes me.
But I want to talk to you about deliverance, it' not as scary as you think.

Looking a back on this writing, the lord has opened my eyes to many things.

I was blinded by what I was becoming.

Soon I'll have another medicine change, and as far as I can see, I'm a dead person to what happened last year.
But I have to have medicine change, because the meds I was on, they were only for emergencies. So now after being one them for 1 course, now it's time for me to get back to a new normal.

Today I wrote to Grace my child from Tear fund, I told her to keep dancing, and keep singing as singing and dancing with Joy makes her body strong.
She's only 4.
I pray to God that she'll keep that same innocence but grow in wisdom.
For her the cycle of poverty is broken.

I'm just the lords servant.

And there will be better days, out there.

I'm writing, about deliverance and to do that, we have to die to ourselves.
Putting aside our own ambitions, to gain Christ.
Is it a game of give and take? promise and compromise?
is that how it works?

Any relationship is tricky, there is no 2 perfect people.

We are a working progress,  sometimes we will tread the thorny road.

But it's not for along time, like my med change, I won't be on it forever, Jesus promised that.
And he always, always sticks to his promises, he doesn't break them, he doesn't go back on his word, he always, always keeps them.
The thing is, do we believe in them?
See the more we block them out, we eventally become deaf to what he's saying.
We find anything to blame it on, our parents, our homes, our anger, our resentment, our church.
Anything but us.

Jesus came so that we have life to the full, not like a quarter full, but full to over brimming full and running out, over flowing.
It's up to us, if we believe him.

Ephesians 4: 26 read it for yourself.

Paul writes in his letter, be kind and compassionate, to one another, forgiving each other as Christ God forgave you.

So let all those past skeletons come out of the closet, time to start living.
No more excuses, no more blaming.
Start living, in the spirit of freedom of deliverance.
You don't live in the past anymore, you live with Christ.
Breaking, shattering all the labels right out of the water.

All the things they put on you, time to let it go.

And that's my concluding thoughts.

Break the cycle for yourself.

Chloe.

Joy and enthusasim.

Hello,
How's life?
I hope that you're good.
Sometimes it feels a bit lonely out here.
So grab yourself a cup of tea, and just relax.

It's nearing the end of Lock down, and I'm so proud of our family, and what we've done so far.
It isn't over just yet. we haven't had cabin fever.

Before I start, I want to pull my chair closer, and talk to the people who have lost loved ones in this lock down.
and going through grief, which is very real and raw.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We might be struggling, emotionally, physically mentally about this lock down.
it is a new thing, we haven't gone through something like this ever.

So that is a new grief, but we know that in the battle, there's someone stronger in the storm.

So it feels like an oxymoron and somewhat hypercritical, talking about joy and enthusasim.

Life throws us curve balls, there are beautiful things in the valleys,   it's where we do the most growing, and the lord gave me a word this morning on  my walk.

It was flourish, and that's where everything is green and beautiful, now we might not be all flourishing at the moment, perhaps you're in that grief stage, or pehaps you've got so much joy, that the lord has on your heart, and all you want to do is share it.
Go ahead, share and encourage others, that it's not over yet.

Personally, for me, I am in that stage of new things, I pray over each child, on the tearfund page, and I see that my little Grace, been taken off the sponser page.
And my friend Mary, went over to see her sponsored child get their uni digree.
for me, that is the ultamate goal right there.
You've broken the cycle of poverty.

And that is what makes me excited, that you have the father heart of God, you've seen them and you've done something about it.
You've acted out of complete love. for a child, one least than these, that even a cup of cold water is blessed.

I appreciate that you've got your own families, to care about, and your own things to worry about, but if there's something left over why not give it to God.

I was reading in our family time book, that we did as kids, that joy and enthusiasm is like medicine to the bones it makes them strong.

So if you're mourning, for something lost, or if you're in that valley stage.
Make a choice today, that you're going to choose the mood, to have joy.

It will lift you up from that pit, you're in and start to breathe new life.

Blessings.

The power of a letter.

Hello Dear Friends.

How are you?
I hope that you're good and well.
As we are nearly at the end, of the lock down, I thought I'd share with you.
Something that has been on my heart.

A power of a simple letter.

We all love getting mail that isn't banking bills or to do with car regos.
But that of a simple letter, one that you get in the mail, and actually post.

Or in this time in age an email for the tec savy people.

I do both, because I have grandmothers, that love getting a simple letter, and some dear friends, that I write to as well. Ones that I know would treasure a letter.

Letters and or cards, are beautiful when you look back on them, they can be used to bless others.
I strongly encourage you, to write to those loved ones that are important to you and write them a card or a letter.

Letters are also biblical,  the Apostle Paul, was greatly encouraged by letters from fellow churches, and friends.

So they have a biblical view as well, they were written for encouragement,  correction and blessing.

I encourage you to write a letter for yourself, write one about yourself, where you see your in, and how you love yourself.

And often the bible, is used as a love letter to those who read it.
there's so much in your bible, and so much love.
It encourages your spirit.

Paul would often write to Timothy, to encourage him in the Lord.

Who can you write to today, to keep the faith good and strong?

Philippians, chapter 1 says about thanks giving and prayer.

we are confident in Christ that we can come to him and without hesitation he hears us. and he loves us, no matter what outcome  we're in.

Jesus is there, because he cares so much even in the small things, to the bigger things. he is in everything that we do.

We are like a beautiful landscaped garden, growing plants, for his glory.

To encourage you, I thought I'd give you something to think about.
I'm going to put in a link, for tear fund, because you can write a letter to a child.

you can change a life with one simple loving letter, and a bit of money you can break the cycle of poverty.

It is Faith in action.
I strongly recommend their blog, because it is so encouraging, and we all need it at this time.
 https://www.tearfund.org.nz/blog

Click on blog and read a few over a cup of tea.

I just wrote to my sponsored child, and I am getting another one next month.
Grace which I have already talked about in a post.

Is there room for one more in your family?

Children getting, letters mean that you care.
your helping a child, with living, school work and clothes and toys.

You might not see them, but you can hear from them, and love them.

I can't wait to get a 3rd child so I can write to all 3 and all good things comes in 3s so they say.

Like Paul says in Philippians, 1:7.  no matter what your facing, you can face it with the voice of truth.

Much love
Chloe

Refreshing conversations.

Hello there,
How's life?

I hope that you're life is going well that you're not surviving but thriving.

Today I want to talk about, refreshing yourself in the word of God, and having that all important conversation to him.

Sometimes we pray at Jesus, like a one way conversation, but we don't always listen to what he's saying to us.

If you just spend time with him, you'll hear his voice saying you what you wanted to hear.

We often send up prayers, for car parking, for the right money to come into accounts, for a stress and worry free life.

But what if we completely stopped, in this time of Lock down, and hear what he says back to us?

This is an exercise, I myself have been doing, and so far I've filled in 12 pages of what the lord is saying.

He even talks to me, while I'm sleeping.

As we go after the father heart of him, he opens our minds up to things that were closed, or locked.

My mind was locked, till I read this book, and it's showing me how locked up or narrow minded I really was.

He has made me think otherwise, and got new friends, to talk to.

See we all need refreshing, from time to time, it might be in the garden alone with God, on a walk somewhere, or in your room.

Your not alone in this, you have the lover of your soul with you.
Now i don't say that lightly,  Jesus love you so much that he died for you, and if you ask him, again, would he do it over again, his reply would be yes.
Even if it would just be for you.

However, he only had to do it once, but that is what he told me in my quiet time with him yesterday, he'd gladly go to the cross again, just for you and me.

And I tell you, that rose me up  from my stinking thinking.

I was praying in the my spirit, at all the needs, coming to Jesus, and he just told me, to stop and listen to him.
I did so, and he told me 5 more pages of notes.
I won't tell you what they were, because my prayer for you, is that, you'll have your own time of listening to him, and write down what he tell you.

Sacred conversations only between you and God, let him have everything in your life.
And let him, love your very soul, open up the gate, and let him unlock it.

And gently weed away, the things that get in a way. I did this around our apple tree, recently, Soloman's seal was growing around it, and obstructing the view of the ripe apples in the garden. Once I cut down the plants around the tree, I used the off cuts as mulch, for the ground, putting the nutrients back into the ground.

Maybe that's you, perhaps you're wanting to have that important conversation with God, and let him in on a few things.
Let him enrich your ground where you grow.

I was talking to a lovely girl friend of mine, yesterday, and it was like iron sharpening iron.
We need to be like a well oiled garden tool, that is oiled sharp, and clean.

If we're blunt, not oiled, and not clean, just one touch, can make you  workable again.

Sometimes we need to cut off the "stuckers." or the things that drain us. and take them to the head gardener to service.

It might be habbits, it might be clearing out toxic people, from your facebook page, or people who drain you, because they don't want the help themselves.

I am quite tough on this, because I've been there, and have had suckers, into my life, and they only use your precious energy, leaving you drained.
And they've taken your nutrients away.

The good thing, is we can come to God, and let him take this and he will make your flourish.

Without blame, or blemish you are perfect in his sight, like a perfect plant, thriving and fruiting.

Not some old moth eaten fruit that wastes away on the ground.

We are called to be resourceful, with what we have.
We read in the bible, that the early Christians, gave what they had, and nothing was spared.

In this point of time, when we're ''all in this together'' and ''each to their own'' perhaps find out ways, to include people in your circle, perhaps pray for them to be sharpened, to be oiled in Christ so that you can do the work of the Father.

To bring glory, to him and not to yourself.

You might think you are small, but David brought rocks, to a sword fight, and he won.

Don't discount, the fact that you are ''no body,'' Jesus came so that you are some body, and that some body, is you, filled up with the holy Spirit.

And pray, pray in the spirit, to sharpen your own self up.

And pray for the future, and that it will go well with you. Don't look at earthly things, look to the Father in everything.

Jesus came so that you have life, and live it to the full.

He didn't come so that you would be miserable, bitter and hopeless.

He came so that you will be filled with him.

And he loves the work that you do, never think he doesn't he's in everything that you do, you are blessed, not poor.

He gave you a nrain for thinking, of ideas, ones that never has been thought of before.

So don't' think you're not intelligent, or you didn't do physics at school, so you're dumb.

We all need to be in the jobs, that he's called us, because we're not all the same, and it would be pretty boring, if he said ''right, everyone is going to be the same, have the same head, and do the same job.'' we wouldn't get anything finished.

You need to be different, and think different because that is the beauty of Jesus, we do different jobs, so that we have diversity.

My dad is an eco and accounting teacher, his brother is a charted accountant, and Mum works at a carpet shop, I'm a baker at a high school.

Now if we all turn out to be accountants, I wouldn't stick at it for very long, I don't get numbers, but can get by. See I wouldn't be a good fit for the job, because I was born to be creative in different ways.

Are you getting it?

So  go to Jesus with your creative things, and let him have full reign over it.
And plan wisely for him, because he will make it grow.

Jesus delights in the way you see things differently, because we are different
I'm different to my family, to my brothers, the friends I have.

You're different to me, and have equally amount of love, and joy, in you because Christ is in you.

So my point is, have those conversations, that are going past, the same prayers, be diligent with praying, be always watching out for ways to bless others.

Love others as yourself, yes love yourself, and don't be afraid of doing so.
Don't be like military comander officer, always beating yourself up, on the should do's would do's could dos.

With a flat tire attidude, uselesss, and unhelpful.

So that's my thoughts for today, be blessed  and  be open to the spirit of God.

Forever on your side.

Hello my friends.
Happy Easter to you, may the Lord continue to bless you and keep you in his hand.

That's my prayer for you.

Do not be alone this easter, yes we're in lock down still, but it's important, to remember what Christ did for you.

He is not in the empty tomb anymore, he's risen, and with that we are risen with him.

Amen?

My favourite band, is Need to breathe. They sing, a song, forever on your side.
I strongly recommend to look it up, because it's so encouraging.

Sometimes the road gets tough, and with that we stand on some rocks. I posted a letter in our mail box, I walked up the stony path, in bare feet, trying to dodge the smallest rocks, on my feet. wasn't easy, but that's how the Christian walk is sometimes.

It says in the bible, that the lord puts our feet on a good path, it also says he does not let our feet slip.

Have you prayed about that?

Have you thought about it?

Have you been trusting him, with everything?

Has he got your all in life?

Not just a short percentage of it?

In a book I'm reading, praying for your future husband.

It talks about trust.

Have you been trusting the lord with everything?

And sometimes we beat ourselves up, thinking of the bad, that we continue to be blinded by it.

This was me, I kept thinking of the pain I must have given my parents, it was only till recently,  that my parents said no that was the case. I actually was a good girl and knew boundries.
I talked to mum's friend ont he phone yesterday, and she said something amazing.
she said ''you're an amazing girl aren't you? cooking dinner for your family most nights.''

I hadn't really thought of that, and sometimes we do need that badge of courage, to wear, to know we are doing a good job, with things.

There's nothing really wrong with knowing your doing a good job, you see, when we see it, the " bad'' things on how we see ourselves, slowly melt away like ice around a frozen heart.

We can walk on the water, if we just focus on Christ. that can be in normal life we can walk,  upon the ways of this world, with destiny and we can say to those things in our lives, that block us like giant mountains.
To move and they shall be moved.
We can make it to the great unknown, and to the other side.

The only things that get in our way, are our own limits.

We talk ourselves out of good ideas, because why?

Well ask Christ who put them there, ask him which way to walk and walk in it?

Most of all, I want people to live in freedom, in God given freedom, you don't live in the past, you don't live there anymore.

You're walking with success to the other side.

That's all for this morning, remember that.

Hearing from God.

Hello,
Well it’s another year started, and it’s at this time of year we think of new things that we’re beginning, or thinking about doing.

Those new year resolutions are either kept or broken.

And that’s not a bad thing. it’s good for us to make goals, to extend ourselves, a bit.

Some friends have moved away, some friends have found their launching pad and are rocketing through life.

Me, I’m a slow learner, a thinker, I think about things, and ponder.
Perhaps a bit of a dreamer.

If it’s a coffee catch up, with a friend. I really want to know how they are getting on, or how that garden is, how those blue berry plants are going in my friends blue berry plant grove.

I stand back in amazement, on how my friends lives are going, some have brought houses, some have ideas of their own, that will go very well with them.

The fact is, that sometimes, fear cripples, us, and freezers us to move.

We get tired of the things that we liked doing, or we get into a trap, and we loose motivation.
My friends, if that’s you, if you feel like you’re always the one, doing it, because “no one else will.’’ look for those who have hidden talent, so that you can, be encouraged to share the load.

Burn out are high on the list, in our Christian lives, we think we don’t need church, we can do home church, we isolate ourselves because other people see us differently.

So we stay away from them, and it’s easy to get ourselves into a rut, to take work on Sundays, because it’s easier to earn money, than to seek God’s will for our lives.

And that is wrong, but society has told us other wise.

We have easter trading, and supermarkets are selling hot cross buns in January, and in their flyer they say that they might not be in all supermarkets.

It’s so easy to loose focus on what we’re currently doing or what we should be doing, and first and foremost, having our spiritual journey in check.

What do we do about it?

We go back to the bible, and we go back to God, we simply have lost our faith, and when we loose our faith, we are clutching at straws.

Or just doing things on a whim, because they seem like a good idea at the time.

Is it really a good idea, to just keep deceiving ourselves?

Where does that come from?

Well it comes from a little lie we believed, that we were too this too that, not funny enough, we blame ourselves, we blame face-book, we blame our phones, we blame others, who didn’t intend to hurt but hurt us, we blame those who we trust-est, and we found out otherwise.

Life is full of up’s and downs, it’s never a bare foot walk in the park, you’re bound to stand on a few thorns or sharp stones.

Our expectations, either get lower, or higher, we set our goals too low so we just achieve the “survival’’ stage, so we put up protective barriers.

Or we are huge goal achievers, so we have to get on with the next thing.

I hear the rain on the roof, and I wonder what sort of dude was Christ when he is amongst us, what sort of things would he use to propel us forward?

When Jesus was walking along the shore and called his first disciples, what did he see in them?
Normal fishermen, guys with a trade, and fishermen, weren’t well paid, but they were risk takers.

Tax collectors, people who climbed trees, and invited himself around for a dinner party of 2.
So this year, when you start on your new venture, whatever you do, stand back, from the shore, and, stretch out your arms, and say.
“Here Lord, I’m here and I put all my ambitions and dreams aside.

And I let you to have free reign over my life, my life isn’t mine anymore.’’ and watch him move.

Fears

Hi there.
How's it going?
I thought I'd write you about, somethings I've been processing.

I might have been a bit personal, yesterday, with what I was going through.
So I apologize for that.

I wasn't meant to come across that way.

But I want to write about, rather than talk about fears.
We have so many fears,  fears of mental health, fears of money if we have enough.
Fears of what we will grow into.
However, there is no fear in the perfect love of Christ.

We live from day to day, sometimes week to week about what we go through.
So we need to take captive of everything, and go and talk to people, about things rather than just carrying bad attitudes into the next day.

We are different to a our parents,  we won't grow into them.

We are our own people. a people in Christ.

And we need to go to Christ with everything.

I was walking Daphnne the dog, around the park before I moved back home and she loved seeing the ducks at the park.
Now being a Labrador, of course she was interested in the ducks both on the grass and on the water.

She was fascinated by them.

Though she is an animal, I thought yeah this is what it's like with Jesus as we walk through the park.
He's always amazed at what we do.
Nothing is a complete surprise, by him.
Everything is mapped out for a reason, and no walk is the same for a dog.
And the freedom we have in Christ, is the same freedom we have down here
We are no longer bound in chains, of the past.

We all need sounding boards, once in a while, and some good friends advice.

Sometimes we need to take our own advice.

And learn to trust it.
Our beliefs only reach so far, but with  Jesus with them, we will go beyond what was said in the past.

We can no longer, live in the past.

Like Daphhne the dog we need to be fascinated by Christ.

Overwhelmed by him and his love.

The holy spirit, is our helper, he is our guide.

When we come into a relationship with him, we no longer are bound by our earthly nature.

We are free in Christ.

He calls us to no longer to be held by chains.

But walk in the freedom of Christ.

Ask any soon to be parent, or teacher, or care giver, and watch them with the children.

they don' rush, the child to quickly hurry up, they simply go with the flow.

To much of hurrying the child up, results in their own free will later in life, and it's not good.

Some people need to let go of the apron strings, as my friend said.

And let the child grow in their own time, in not a hurry. or feeling like they're boxed in.
THis isn't how the child learns, rather it is though play, stories, playing, and discovering in their own time.

So now what are we supposed to do in this time of freedom after lockdown, what freedom will be having?

When I was in hosptial, last year, I wrote down my exit day,  when I was free to go out.
I remember my aunty, who picked me up and taking me out for the morning.
It was so much freedom, from being in hospital.

So I have written down in my own, diary when  lockdown is finished.
and things will resume the way they are.

However I will be moving out of home, to a new freedom.
and I will write, about my new adventures.
Chloe
My conclusion is, we might have fears of the past, of the present, but know that you are free in Christ.

It's the smaller things in life.

Hello there,
How are you?
I hope that your week in isolation is going ok.
I was talking to my friend, ands she feared that it will be like this till september.

I'm certian it won't come to that, but we must be prepared.

And accept people as they are.

Yesterday I was upset, about something said to me, and I just was so stuck.
It hurt, it really hurt.
I just couldn't love again, and going to this person and giving them a hug, was so painful. That I couldn't do it.

The person appolized this morning, and said that they were sorry.

And would we take the appology.
Of course we did and we are now here together.

And that is what it's like with Christ, he takes us back when we are less than perfect.

And he gives us hugs, and love that we need, even in the painful situations.

And sometimes we have to come to him with heart of repentence, not just for our family, but also for him. to be really sorry for what was done.

But it doesn't stop with family, being nice to them when there's hurt, is only putting a band aid on the solution.

We can't always fix the other person, we can't always go to them and tell them fix that attitude?

Even thought sometimes out of love we need to do so.

Take no delight in doing wrong, it says in the bible.

Wrong attidudes only let to self righteous and pride.

Jesus doesn't make lives hard, for a reason he doesn't delight in making it hard, or give you trials just to overcome them.

He's not out there to get you, or to make it harder than it is.

He loves you, he's not like a strict parent, with rules and regulations, and pulling your own weight.

Jesus comes to you freely.

Like a good parent, who loves their kids.
Take note of that, he really loves you so much that all he wants you to do is sit on his lap and just be held.

It's taken me a little while to get this, because it's the smaller things in life, that matter.

See if we give up now, and throw in the towel, what does that say about us?

We have no back bone, and we're not prepared to do the hard yards.

When we come to Jesus,  and we come to him with unbelieve hurt, he comes and just hugs us.

Because he really does see the tears, and knows the pain we go through.
He doesn't take delight, in a strict hand. and refuses to lift it.

First of all that's not his nature, and it would be impossible for him to do so.

I'm not a parent, but I have 2 girls that I give money to, now I'd be a pretty bad person if I just pulled out all stops, and stoped it without acutally telling them why.
I would never do that, I love my girls so much. and the lord gave me a dream vision that they lacked nothing and no disease will get my girls.

I'd be a pretty poor giver, if I just covered the bare essentials.

When in fact the Lord is wanting me to go deeper into him and supply all our needs.

The fact is, going deeper into Christ means, we're going to come up against it.
And it might be in our own families.

Most often it is.

Jesus is our councilor, when times are hard.
he comes to us, when we need him and he holds us in hands.

Now when you're in hurt the last thing is that you want to be held, if you haven't been held for a while. and just pause and stop.

Being tough doesn't really cut the mustard.

It only makes us less want Christ, because we think we are strong by ourselves.

Jesus is the best parent around, because he does

dressing up for God.

Hello, it's me.
How's your life going?
Today hasn't been bad, I had a really lovely time with the lord this morning.
And it hasn't stopped.
I've actually dressed up for God, I went through my wardrobe, and found something that I think he'd like.

It's a David Lawrence dress.

Why is it important to dress up for Jesus and come right as you are, because you are loved.
And he never comes in by force.

I've been pretty angry, with someone all day, and anger isn't right, nor is it good.
It doesn't do any one good.

And I don't want to be controlled by anger, nor am I wanting to let it eat me up.
I have rain on my heart, and I want to be free so badly.
And not in conflict.

So I found a way around it, and that was going through my wardrobe, dressing up for Jesus.

ANd he said I should wear this dress to church.

See anger doesn't do any one any good, and  you can cry all you want, you can even tell your friend, and that helps, but think of the other person.
That other person, is made in the image of God.

And when you hurt that image, you really hurt God.

Having a true heart of repentance.
See you might think about going in, and ''sort it out'' because it was such a personal attack.

But it doesn't help anyone, if you get all fed up, because of it, you won't get very far if things start to unravel.

I have a great fear, and I'm working it through it, not very well but I'm working through it.
You just can't go it alone.

You need Jesus, the precious name of God in your life.

It got me thinking about my own life, and how hard it would be if I gave up.

See people who give up, are without hope, with out hope we are like ships in a storm with no anchor.

Tossing and turning in the storm.

We need the sweet release of God, to release us from all anger.

Today might not have gone the way you wanted it to go, you might have been so upset, and the person who upset you is perfectly fine.

See in Hannah's day, there weren't' any visions, or dreams.

Hannah goes to Jesus with one.

We need to be bold like her, approach, the thorne of God without being wimpy, but boldy and ask him to take whatever it is, and deal with it.

He can take our upsetness, the one you know that just you can't control, or will people help you out, but just let you cry.

The fight might be raging, but we know one that will fight our battles for us.

Don't give up, when there's a battle on your hands, press into God, that's when you get your armour out and you fight.

You might have a deep fear, that you'll turn out like your family.

And there was a point in time I'd tell God, Lord I'd gladly die for you, than to go through it.

But he wanted me to go through the pain, to be refined and in his hand.

He was talking to me about being released by the spirit, to do things.
you have the power to do some releasing in your own life, you are not crippled or living in the past.

And our family are one for living in the past.

Remember when, that happend, or this happened, or whatever.

And it's taught me, to live in the past, because it was passed down.

There might have been good things in the past, but today look at today and thank God, dress up for him.
Tell him what you're needs are

Tell him, right now, what you want.

He is a man to be trusted, and he will set you free of the past.

Don't live in it, live in the furture.

Don't be angry at the person, cause you're only upset and angry at yourself.

And if you need a support person, for some human intervention go. But do it wisely.
Not to get anything back,  don't do an eye for an eye.

What would you achieve if, you just give up now?

Dress up for God, put on your best clothes and dress up for him, and see what he says.

And easy way, to defuse the anger, and love sometimes might be tough.
It might be grity, it might be hard to take.
 a hard pill to swallow.
but it must be done.
You're not only setting yourself free, you're setting that other person free.

Go to Jesus, tell him excatly what you need
It might be amazing grace, in this moment, it might be that you need to care for a person who couldn't care less.
It might just be ''what can I do to help'' when it's a mary moment.

But never ever send out invites to an angry party, and put an rsvp on it, you won't get many returns.

Going through the refining process

Hello,
How's it going?
In this point in time, still in lock down, my thoughts have changed about how I see Jesus.
On the first couple of day, we were resting, and not doing to much.
I didn't like taking a forced rest, because it has been a long time coming for a holiday.
Then a word of the lord came to me, that we are to go to him with every need.
Then someone gave me a word of knowledge for me, and it great encouraged my spirit.

I wonder if we spend less time on the computer we will hear his voice to what he's saying.

I've been going through what I call a refining process for about a year, and the lord gave me a an analogy this morning.

About a mine, and their trucks.

At Mcraes mine, theres 150 tones of rock on their trucks, for 1 teaspoon of gold.

And with that rock, they crush it, to get the gold out.

Then once it's all processed it goes through another refiner, and gets made into bars.

Now it's not much fun in the refining process, being crushed, this can be in spirit, this can be spiritual, it can be in family, it can be in whatever your ''refining stage'' you find yourself in.

But after all the process, Jesus holds your in his hand, and after all that, ''says well done faithful child of mine.''

So is it worth the mine, with the 150 tones of rock, to get 1 teaspoon of gold out of those trucks?

If it wasn't profitable,   it would have closed down.

Jesus is our mine, when we go to him, with all our needs, he examines, us.

He actually thinks about our very motive and weighs it up, to see if it's good or not.

The more we take hold of the bible and believe that that love letter is in it for us, we believe him at his word.

And we come out bright shinning as gold.

After you go through the process of being refined, you are treasured.

You are lacking nothing, everything you do, will be blessed.
We just need to see us, on how Jesus sees us.
Everything you see from now on in, will be blessed.

We need to strive to the goal that is up ahead of us, and go for it with all you have.
In the bible if we go after him, we are going after God's own heart, and we aren't lacking anything.

You might think that Jesus, is just a person to be praised on sundays, and that I believe that he made us, in his likeness.

See Jesus knows our struggles, he hasn't made us to struggle in this world.
Rather he is in the struggle.

Jesus loves us just the way we are, we don't need to prove anything to him.

We love christ, because he first loved us.

I like to think of Hannah, who gave birth to Samuel.

Samuel was a priest after all the priest were ungodly.
He anointed David to be the next king, over all Israel.

In those days the bible says,  there weren't many visions.
Could that be because the priests were doing ungodly things in the time of Israel?

However, God Jesus, the spirit remembered Hannah, and she kept the dream alive.

What's keeping your dream alive?

What is causing your dream to be dormant?

Call to your dream and wake it up, and live in it.

Don't let any one restrict you to what you're wanting to with it.

Don't let any past wounds fester and become infected, go and get the healing you need from Jesus

It is worth going through the refining process, because in the process of being refined you're being made to shine brighter than the purest of gold.

That's my thoughts for today.

Keep going keep growing. know what soil you're in.

Hello there.
How are you?
I hope that you're having a nice time while on holiday.

I have a friend Joy, who is my Timaru Mum, and she sent me a letter this morning.
We right maybe every fortnight, and I email, text in between times.

I told her I want to do an organic gardening course, though SIT.
I have just found out that I can have my course material fees waved, through a special friend.
So that's really awesome.

I think of my girls, Talato, and now Grace.
I pray for them and I love my girls.
I pray their lives are blessed, through the support of tearfund.

And the Lord gave me a dream about my girls last night, each of them were dressed in colourful clothes, and Grace was playing with her dolls.

I love my girls so much.

I thanked God, for giving me that dream.

They are alive and well, happy and free of disease.

But I digress.

My post is about, what soil, we're in, and for us to grow.

My friend Joy did a horticulture course, and posted down, some notes so see if they will be helpful for my course.

And it got me thinking about, life.

We can't always be in the same ground, all the time.

We need space, to grow our roots, and flower.

If a bush is going well it's often down to the soil, weather it is self draining good soil or boggy clay.

Self draining soil, lets all the nutrients in the ground, and gets deep down into the plant.
In clay soil, you have to do alot of prep work to get the soil to take the water.

And it's a bit like learning something new, first you start in small steps, then you get more confident in other things, and then that crosses over into your own life

We can often be like the clay, only trusting ourselves so much, then all the goodness sits on top of the soil and never really reaches the good ground beneath the tree where it needs to grow.

And we need to do prep work to get the nutrients into the soil.
It might be organic matter, compost, seaweed, sheep pellets, whatever we do to break up the clay.

And over time we water the ground and the nutrients goes into the plant and we get growth.

In this interesting time, when we're face with uncertainty we can feel like a tree growing in clay.

We are limited in what we produce.

Because we don't trust ourselves all that much, so we close up.

So with in mind, how do we open up for the water to come down and keep us hydrated.

We have to stop being negative,
Being around negative people will stunt our growth, and it will make us diseased and lacking in good fruit.

This might mean a walk around the park, taking time to love yourself.
And remember you can't change that person, but you can change the way we think about them.

And bless them with acts of kindness, pulling together and blessing them.

Number 2.

Do something creative, it might not be perfect, but it can be you.
And it can be growing a new garden, or making a new friend.
Or supporting someone in need that really needs it. this is your true self.

Being creative is blessing others, so instead of being fustrated, with one particular thing, do something that is helpful for others.

3. Don't give up too soon.

It might not be perfect, but you can be the person that Christ has made you.
Give up and throwing in the towel only does one thing.

It give the enemy room to move in, fast, and we begin to believe the lies.
about us, and others, the gossip and everything else that goes with it.

Don't believe that this is it, that's it's only only going to get worse before it gets better.

That is wrong, not only is it wrong, it stunts our growth, and in our our brains, science has proven that if we believe wrongs things in our heads, we grow thorns. what I mean about this is, that good thoughts, grow like trees in our brains, and any negative talk, thorns grow.

We need to stop all negative talk about ourselves, or others, because they hear what we're saying, and we are setting up thorns in their heads.

Only be blessed, and use words for building each other up.

Jesus is our rescue story.

So check what soil you're in today.

And write that letter, to those people, or email, let us throw off everthing that hinders us. and stops us from growing.

Letters are important, it says in the bible that news from a distant land, is like honey to the soul.

So write one today, that you will sow good seed into good soil.

My girls love letters from me, because it's my way of connecting to them, and letters are good because you can go back, and re read them in hard times.

It's time to be a Mary, not a Martha.

It's time to act and be the person we're growing to be
