Psalm 1.

Well here goes another attempt.

And to be honest, I've had a few false starts, so I'm hoping like anything that this is it, and this is not a personal blog, you won't get any warm fuzzy animals.
That's not my point of this blog, the point of this blog is just getting people into God's word.

So here goes..

So where do I start?
Well how about going through the Psalms I will get to psalm 35.

But lets start at Psalm 1.

And you can read it, it's only 6 verses long, so it's not that laborious  or hard to get.

We read it in verse one that blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners.  I don't know about you, but it's so easy isn't just to feed on that juicy piece of gossip, who did what, to what person, and oh it goes on and on and on. Until, it's so hard to see the truth, or even know what it is sometimes.
It's so important to not enter into the evil, that is around us.
Prayer is so important, think of it as a bullet proof vest that the Police wear, if the police didn't have the bullet proof vests, on they would die, God's  protection prayer, is like that, it's like putting on the armor of God.  The evil arrows won't go near us. they will go past us.

If we don't pray the arrows of defeat will go right into us, we'll get annoyed at everyone, at everything, we will just want things to work, and we notice that things aren't going well.
Then we pray, and what do we do? we pray we put on our worship music and we get built up in the spirit of God.

What is the spirit of God?
Well it's not that, a freaky thing, to be afraid of, it's in us, the same overcoming power that is in Christ is in you, no matter if you feel like worshiping God, or not, it's always there.

We need to be like the person, in verse 2, delight ourselves in the Lord, this means getting out of the house, and getting to know God more, now you might go to Church, you might not, you might get all the warm teaching sermons, on hope, faith and Love, but how many sermons do we get on trials, and hardships?

If people are going down the wrong road, just to be in with the crowd, don't go in, you have a choice, and you need to make a stand for yourself, not for others, not people pleasing, not to please yourself, rather do it for the Lord.  and it's a process, my friend real faith starts with honesty.

Being honest with yourself, and seeing where you are. And God never forgets, he never leaves you alone, he is always around you.
You know, no matter what, if we read God's word, it seeps in and washes us, and sets us free, an we are like a tree planted by streams  of water which yields it fruit in season, and whose leaf  does not wither, whatever he does prospers.

Everyday we struggle, we struggle with the grief all around us, we struggle to make ends meet, being jobless, perhaps even being unloved, and all the human fears. But there's hope my friend, even if the world tells you otherwise you have the hope of glory in you, you know that when we depart this earth, we will have no more human pain or anguish.
But until the Lord comes back, we have to stay here, and serve him in so many ways.
We need to be prepared in and out of season,  whether we have little or much, we need to serve him.

My mother always said when I struggled with some dark thoughts, thoughts that just wouldn't go away, she always said to help another person, or do something good just one day, just to help that person out.

I want to be that person,  that person who helps, out, and yes I get caught up in my own selfish desires, like human excuses, like when ''when I am fully trained, when I have the time, when I finally make it.'' but I know now, that those are just pipe dreams, and why not begin to serve him now?

When we do something right, the wicked won't be with us, because God always blesses.
And the Lord watches over you, he knows your every step, your ways, your struggles, your hopes, what makes you tick and what upsets you, and you know something?
Jesus knows you so well, that not even your closest friend, family member, doesn't even compare and they don't even come close, because God loves you, because he made you, in such a intricate way, and he loves you just the way you are!!
You don't need to compete with anyone else you don't have to do ''marvelous things'' to get God's tick of approval, because you already have it.
