Hi there.
How's it going?
I thought I'd write you about, somethings I've been processing.
I might have been a bit personal, yesterday, with what I was going through.
So I apologize for that.
I wasn't meant to come across that way.
But I want to write about, rather than talk about fears.
We have so many fears, fears of mental health, fears of money if we have enough.
Fears of what we will grow into.
However, there is no fear in the perfect love of Christ.
We live from day to day, sometimes week to week about what we go through.
So we need to take captive of everything, and go and talk to people, about things rather than just carrying bad attitudes into the next day.
We are different to a our parents, we won't grow into them.
We are our own people. a people in Christ.
And we need to go to Christ with everything.
I was walking Daphnne the dog, around the park before I moved back home and she loved seeing the ducks at the park.
Now being a Labrador, of course she was interested in the ducks both on the grass and on the water.
She was fascinated by them.
Though she is an animal, I thought yeah this is what it's like with Jesus as we walk through the park.
He's always amazed at what we do.
Nothing is a complete surprise, by him.
Everything is mapped out for a reason, and no walk is the same for a dog.
And the freedom we have in Christ, is the same freedom we have down here
We are no longer bound in chains, of the past.
We all need sounding boards, once in a while, and some good friends advice.
Sometimes we need to take our own advice.
And learn to trust it.
Our beliefs only reach so far, but with Jesus with them, we will go beyond what was said in the past.
We can no longer, live in the past.
Like Daphhne the dog we need to be fascinated by Christ.
Overwhelmed by him and his love.
The holy spirit, is our helper, he is our guide.
When we come into a relationship with him, we no longer are bound by our earthly nature.
We are free in Christ.
He calls us to no longer to be held by chains.
But walk in the freedom of Christ.
Ask any soon to be parent, or teacher, or care giver, and watch them with the children.
they don' rush, the child to quickly hurry up, they simply go with the flow.
To much of hurrying the child up, results in their own free will later in life, and it's not good.
Some people need to let go of the apron strings, as my friend said.
And let the child grow in their own time, in not a hurry. or feeling like they're boxed in.
THis isn't how the child learns, rather it is though play, stories, playing, and discovering in their own time.
So now what are we supposed to do in this time of freedom after lockdown, what freedom will be having?
When I was in hosptial, last year, I wrote down my exit day, when I was free to go out.
I remember my aunty, who picked me up and taking me out for the morning.
It was so much freedom, from being in hospital.
So I have written down in my own, diary when lockdown is finished.
and things will resume the way they are.
However I will be moving out of home, to a new freedom.
and I will write, about my new adventures.
Chloe
My conclusion is, we might have fears of the past, of the present, but know that you are free in Christ.
