Refreshing conversations.

Hello there,
How's life?

I hope that you're life is going well that you're not surviving but thriving.

Today I want to talk about, refreshing yourself in the word of God, and having that all important conversation to him.

Sometimes we pray at Jesus, like a one way conversation, but we don't always listen to what he's saying to us.

If you just spend time with him, you'll hear his voice saying you what you wanted to hear.

We often send up prayers, for car parking, for the right money to come into accounts, for a stress and worry free life.

But what if we completely stopped, in this time of Lock down, and hear what he says back to us?

This is an exercise, I myself have been doing, and so far I've filled in 12 pages of what the lord is saying.

He even talks to me, while I'm sleeping.

As we go after the father heart of him, he opens our minds up to things that were closed, or locked.

My mind was locked, till I read this book, and it's showing me how locked up or narrow minded I really was.

He has made me think otherwise, and got new friends, to talk to.

See we all need refreshing, from time to time, it might be in the garden alone with God, on a walk somewhere, or in your room.

Your not alone in this, you have the lover of your soul with you.
Now i don't say that lightly,  Jesus love you so much that he died for you, and if you ask him, again, would he do it over again, his reply would be yes.
Even if it would just be for you.

However, he only had to do it once, but that is what he told me in my quiet time with him yesterday, he'd gladly go to the cross again, just for you and me.

And I tell you, that rose me up  from my stinking thinking.

I was praying in the my spirit, at all the needs, coming to Jesus, and he just told me, to stop and listen to him.
I did so, and he told me 5 more pages of notes.
I won't tell you what they were, because my prayer for you, is that, you'll have your own time of listening to him, and write down what he tell you.

Sacred conversations only between you and God, let him have everything in your life.
And let him, love your very soul, open up the gate, and let him unlock it.

And gently weed away, the things that get in a way. I did this around our apple tree, recently, Soloman's seal was growing around it, and obstructing the view of the ripe apples in the garden. Once I cut down the plants around the tree, I used the off cuts as mulch, for the ground, putting the nutrients back into the ground.

Maybe that's you, perhaps you're wanting to have that important conversation with God, and let him in on a few things.
Let him enrich your ground where you grow.

I was talking to a lovely girl friend of mine, yesterday, and it was like iron sharpening iron.
We need to be like a well oiled garden tool, that is oiled sharp, and clean.

If we're blunt, not oiled, and not clean, just one touch, can make you  workable again.

Sometimes we need to cut off the "stuckers." or the things that drain us. and take them to the head gardener to service.

It might be habbits, it might be clearing out toxic people, from your facebook page, or people who drain you, because they don't want the help themselves.

I am quite tough on this, because I've been there, and have had suckers, into my life, and they only use your precious energy, leaving you drained.
And they've taken your nutrients away.

The good thing, is we can come to God, and let him take this and he will make your flourish.

Without blame, or blemish you are perfect in his sight, like a perfect plant, thriving and fruiting.

Not some old moth eaten fruit that wastes away on the ground.

We are called to be resourceful, with what we have.
We read in the bible, that the early Christians, gave what they had, and nothing was spared.

In this point of time, when we're ''all in this together'' and ''each to their own'' perhaps find out ways, to include people in your circle, perhaps pray for them to be sharpened, to be oiled in Christ so that you can do the work of the Father.

To bring glory, to him and not to yourself.

You might think you are small, but David brought rocks, to a sword fight, and he won.

Don't discount, the fact that you are ''no body,'' Jesus came so that you are some body, and that some body, is you, filled up with the holy Spirit.

And pray, pray in the spirit, to sharpen your own self up.

And pray for the future, and that it will go well with you. Don't look at earthly things, look to the Father in everything.

Jesus came so that you have life, and live it to the full.

He didn't come so that you would be miserable, bitter and hopeless.

He came so that you will be filled with him.

And he loves the work that you do, never think he doesn't he's in everything that you do, you are blessed, not poor.

He gave you a nrain for thinking, of ideas, ones that never has been thought of before.

So don't' think you're not intelligent, or you didn't do physics at school, so you're dumb.

We all need to be in the jobs, that he's called us, because we're not all the same, and it would be pretty boring, if he said ''right, everyone is going to be the same, have the same head, and do the same job.'' we wouldn't get anything finished.

You need to be different, and think different because that is the beauty of Jesus, we do different jobs, so that we have diversity.

My dad is an eco and accounting teacher, his brother is a charted accountant, and Mum works at a carpet shop, I'm a baker at a high school.

Now if we all turn out to be accountants, I wouldn't stick at it for very long, I don't get numbers, but can get by. See I wouldn't be a good fit for the job, because I was born to be creative in different ways.

Are you getting it?

So  go to Jesus with your creative things, and let him have full reign over it.
And plan wisely for him, because he will make it grow.

Jesus delights in the way you see things differently, because we are different
I'm different to my family, to my brothers, the friends I have.

You're different to me, and have equally amount of love, and joy, in you because Christ is in you.

So my point is, have those conversations, that are going past, the same prayers, be diligent with praying, be always watching out for ways to bless others.

Love others as yourself, yes love yourself, and don't be afraid of doing so.
Don't be like military comander officer, always beating yourself up, on the should do's would do's could dos.

With a flat tire attidude, uselesss, and unhelpful.

So that's my thoughts for today, be blessed  and  be open to the spirit of God.
Chloe
