Where is God in all of this?

Hello People,
How are you?
I hope that you're good and happy where you are.
As my brother, goes surfing at St Clair beach.
Dad is working down stairs, and mum is at work.

I am not sad today, I don't want to live by my emotions.

But lately, I don't know if it's winter, but as we go into winter here, and come out of lock down. I am happy that we can continue, to do our work, as I haven't been working for 8 weeks.
I have enjoyed the lock down, it would be better if I had ridding to go to, but I still have to wait, to when ridding starts up again.

It got me thinking, about where is God in all of this?

Where is God in the mist of lock-down?

I am confident, that he didn't send a disease to  plague the world, rather he was with every death, that happened.

So with so much uncertainty, that we're facing, how we can we have firm foundation? that doesn't sway us from side to side?

We start to build on a firm foundation at the start.
I'll give you an example.

We're having a drive way put in, re done, so that people can drive  now, the previous people who did the drive way, did only half the job, and not digging out the clay, and putting down rock to help to give our right of way, a firm foundation, thus making it, sink, and water got in, and it has been in a bad way.

Now that we're having a new right of way put in, they are re doing the job, that should have been done in the first place.

Sometimes we can be like that drive way full of clay, we wonder why we're slipping, and things aren't working out.

It's not necessary us  to blame, but if we start off with the right foundation, we will have the confidence in Christ, that he knows us, better than any one else we know of.

So a firm foundation to build our lives on are crucial. Like coming out of hibernation, or lock down, we need to ask ourselves, what does God require us to do?
Does he want us to do a million things?
Or does he require us to have the mind of Christ, and just do a few things well?

Our thinking has changed, on how we see our lives after lock down.

Suddenly what we think has changed.

But one thing remains true, we are true to our faith in Jesus.

He is our reason we are still here, that we are sure of one thing, that when things around us change.
God is in all of it, for those people who believe.

I'll be heading back to school soon, and work, and flat, and daphnne the dog.
I just hope that the lovely 2 years pup, doesn't eye up my new boots.
She's still in that chewing stage. I might even go to the farmers market, to get my fresh fruit for the week.
and start to support local food places.

Coming out of lock down for me, means that we have beaten Covid 19.
And we've all done it for our families, and friends.

I am so happy to see my friends again, I can go ridding, I might even, book in a lesson today, for Friday or just see my horse that I ride, and tell them I've missed them, because I have so much.

That's me and my thoughts for today.
Chloe
